Fitness 19 — Local services in Town of Hempstead

The gym is nice, local and parking is great. The lady employees are very sweet. I do have some issues though as I was purchased a 6 mth membership and I've been asking how much was paid as there is no price listing in the location only in a book for the staff. No one is able to look it up but the manager. I've been calling and he's not there. You call the young man i spoke with wasn't helpful and acts as if i was bothering him. Totally unprofessional. I got two different prices so to not have anything on file as to how much was paid seems absurd to me. The only one who has a way of looking it up is the manager who isnt there everyday. To avoid any confusion a price listing in the establishment would be wise as well as keeping track of members payments when paying a 6 month membership or any payment. Also, I must say the machines could use a nice cleaning. The stair master there are only 3 machines and some people will stay on there for an hr or more in the mornings and you won't have the opportunity to even get on smh. Maybe set a limit for...

Let me start by saying this gym literally kept charging me from last year July and billed me hundreds. I called to get the membership pause/cancelled but my request wasn’t granted. Then they have their dept collectors/lawyers reaching out to me for their delinquency and claiming I broke my contract even though they failed to honor my wishes. I won’t be returning to this gym even though it’s the closest to me. If you can avoid this gym please do so at all time. And the debt Yall been reaching out to me about I have paid it in full. Been coming here for quite awhile. The staff is fantastic, but the cleanliness of the gym and machines seem to be going downhill. Pre-COVID it was wonderful. After COVID, I noticed the windows and sills were dirty and/or dusty, however the machines were still well kept. Now, however some of the machines are downright disgusting with dirt, dust and grime build up. I heard from another member that John who use to clean them is no longer with them. I can only hope that they get someone soon to tend to this or I will have to find a new gym. Hoping it doesn’t...
