Got totally ripped off here and should have realized before I put down a deposit. I went it to get a cake made for an event for 25 PEOPLE. Stressing that because when I went to pick up it was a 40 pound cake made for atleast 100 (maybe more) - yeah maybe that wouldn’t be a problem if the cake wasnt 275 dollars !!!!! half of it went to waste on my end because I left it for the staff where our event was (Who by the way was great and deserved it but not the point) now for what bothered me: the price was insane/ I felt that but also felt totally pressured by the person helping me. I made a few upgrades on the cake like getting their updated $$ butter cream (which was supposed to be on the inside and the outside of the cake and it wasn’t) it ended up just whipped cream. Again it wasn’t even made right - so to pay an extra price is insane. Nothing I described or wanted was done. And you would think for a cake that’s almost $300 They would at least make it the right size and what I described I wanted.
Last and most frustrating part was that when I went to go pick it up, they had no record of the cake and the person that made it was nowhere to be found they couldn’t even reach her on the phone… so I left without paying for the rest of the cake and then had to come back to pay. When I spoke to the young girl on the phone who was very sweet, I told her I was unhappy and wanted to speak to the manager, but still never heard from her so I assume they just don’t care. Oh well lesson learned in my end. I’ll definitely never come back here and will stick with Vin’s Bake House...

Got a couple donuts and cinnamon Buns, when I paid by card, I was given the pen they use to check for counterfeit bills to sign my receipt, I mentioned what the pen was, she said, "that's the only pen we have in the store" needless to say, it didn't write well as that isnt what you use it for. That's the only pen in the entire place? Or was she too lazy to get one. Now the items I got, the cinnamon Buns were rock hard, inside and out, seemed very old, just threw them away. The donuts weren't hard, but they tasted far from fresh. Was disgusted, everything had to be thrown away. I bought these items around 9am, things shouldn't be this old by then. This was my first time trying them with the new owner and I don't plan to go back. The cakes look good, but they have a lot of display items, how fresh could they be. Stay away from the donuts and cinnamon Buns, and bring...

Beginning at our cake tasting and leading up to the fine tuning of delivery day details, Zio’s made the whole process of our wedding cake as stress free and as easy as possible. They worked with us on having as many flavors in our cake as we wanted and made sure the “simple” cake vision we had was perfectly achieved.
