I recently visited FIRE & ICE in Wantagh, NY. I was in need of some relaxation, and this place did not disappoint. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique and calming experience.

I did the new client specials package, which included a Sauna, Polar Ice Room, and Himalayan Salt Room. The sauna was relaxing with its lights and music, and it helped me unwind before I went into the Polar Ice Room.

The Polar Ice Room was so nice, loved the chairs and the environment. It felt great after leaving the sauna. The tv video images added to the atmosphere and created a calm environment. The Himalayan Salt Room was very cozy with the addition of soft, fluffy blankets and comfortable reclining chairs.

The Spa was clean and well-maintained, and there were glowing light installations that were soothing to the eyes and helped me relax. Robes, spa shoes and towels were provided, the owner was very helpful in guiding me around the place and extremely accommodating meeting all my needs. I also enjoy the privacy of the small rooms with only limited guest.

What a great experience! My wife and I weren’t sure what to expect but went in with an open mind. First thing we noticed, the place is spotless. We met Sharyn, the owner, who is amazing, just the right amount of attentiveness yet laid back. The infrared sauna is amazing for getting rid of aches and pains, I have rods and screws in my back and it works better than most of the medications I take. Also clears out the pores on your body, and aids in weight loss, extremely helpful if you went heavy on the drinks the night before too. The ice room temp is a steady 40-45 degrees which is perfect after the sauna. Very relaxed chilled, quite an endorphin rush. Next you step in to the Himalayan salt room. One thing I can count on is my wife falling asleep. We both have noticed a difference in our allergies and breathing (both former smokers) My wife’s skin is clearer and healthier looking. I’m not saying it’s a cure all but it definitely is worth the time to de-stress. I really wish we were able to give more stars. TL;DL - just go, it’ll be the best $50 you’ve spent on...

I am so grateful for this space. I started going to fire ice over a year ago and would complete the infrared sauna, cold room, and salt cave circuit. It It was the perfect escape and self-care! I also had the pleasure of attending multiple workshops held in the space and the sense of community is incredible. While I’ve had to stop the infrared sauna because I am pregnant, the salt cave has helped me with so many different symptoms that I would usually treat with medicine, but can’t.
