Maybe a year to a year and a half ago they must have hired someone new or something, because I've never encountered a Pizza Hut that doesn't know how to make a pizza (Pizza Hut's my go-to when I'm traveling and looking for a quick bite, so I've eaten at probably two dozen of them over the years. Never had an experience like this before). Or maybe they decided to start cooking the pizzas at higher temperature for a shorter time to save time or something. No clue what it is, but a couple of pizzas in a row were suddenly noticeably undercooked, to the point where even the cheese around the outer edges was completely unsolid, and I could put my finger straight through it as if it were butter. Then when I requested it to be cooked slightly more they burned it to a crisp.
Ever since this started I've been going to the Pizza Hut on Ridge Road instead and getting the usual amazing pizzas that Pizza Hut usually makes, but unfortunately the only way to get Pizza Hut delivered where I live is with doordash, and the doordash orders all come from this Pizza Hut. I bit the bullet and ordered a couple over the last year for the sake of convenience, but after having major issues with both of them I've just given up and started doing carry out from Ridge Road every time. I looked at some of the other reviews and saw that I'm not the only one who's had the experience of badly cooked pizzas from this Pizza Hut lately.
Guys, you're losing business here, in a way that's entirely preventable. Please, for your own sake as well as your customers sake, figure out who or what is causing this...
Read moreHorrible service and expensive grease. I ordered online and showed up in the expected preparation time. Walked in to the restaurant and they were beyond dead. Store was clean, zero orders cooking in the oven, and the only food waiting to be picked up was mine. The old man folding boxes, acknowledged me and said he would go get someone. I'm assuming he doesn't use the register for whatever reason. I heard people talking and making noise in the back, and when they were told they had a customer, I heard someone say "they're gonna have to wait, I'll get there when I get there." I understand a little stress if maybe it's the middle of a Friday dinner rush, but this was 1pm on a Saturday afternoon and they were literally doing nothing. I stood there a couple minutes and no one came up to give me the food I ordered even though I could see it on the rack ready to go. So I left. I thought their first job was customer service. Good thing I hadn't paid yet. Curious how they will stay open if customers aren't a priority and I'm not able to pay for my food because whatever is going on out back is more important?? Ordered the same thing from the competitor down the street. Not only was it cheaper for delivery than pizza hut carryout, they're...
Read moreThey sold me a gluten free pizza online but when I got there( because I have to drive to Pizza hut because they closed both locations near me they don't deliver) they told me they didn't carry gluten free pizza . Before I went to order I verified on their website that this location carried it . I wouldn't have gone out of my way if I had known. All the local pizza places carry gluten free pizza. When I got upset the teenage girl at register came across as if she didn't care even saying if you don't like the way Pizza hut runs there business then call the 800 number and complain to them. The manger then came over and said since the opened new location the delivery service would give them the pizza... I said you need to change your website and they said they couldn't. Along with that my pizza was over cooked and dry and cold. I left and called 800 # and lady was appalled by what happened and said they can change website and that was lie and that she would be reporting this to the appropriate people . I haven't gotten a call back to report anything else. Pizza hut I'm sorry but in this case anyone could...
