Delizia's Pizza Kitchen (Highland Falls) — Restaurant in Town of Highlands

The manager here has a very NASTY attitude!! We were trying to get food before my daughter had to go to the hospital to deliver her first child. She was in early labor so we ordered a pizza. The young lady read the order back to us correctly. Her husband stopped to pick the pizza up on his way to the house. The order was completely wrong. We called to see if we could get the correct pizza (uncooked) or get a credit so we could eat it later. We explained the situation. The young lady asked the manager. He said no credit and no he wouldn’t give us an uncooked pie. We asked for our money back then. We didn’t have one because the young lady at the counter asked my daughter’s husband if he wanted one and he said no. We ended up bringing the pie back to the store and asked to speak to the manager, who had refused to speak with us on the phone. He was rude and nasty. He wouldn’t listen to anything we were trying to explain. He really ticked my “in labor” daughter off. She went next door to the police department. I stayed and he continued to be nasty and rude. Finally, he listened to what we were trying to explain to him in the beginning and gave us a “portion” of our money back. We went right across the street to the pizza place and bought us a very delicious pizza! With no hassle. We will never come back to this place again, and will never recommend It to anyone else! I ordered twice for delivery. First one so much smoother since I called directly, the service was good and the food was great. Second, which is today, I clicked on their website which suggested me to download the slice pizza app to order. So I did. Big mistake. The food she got was ruined. The soup was spilled on her hot subs. So she threw it away. Good thing I ordered chicken wing with that order. That chicken wing was ok, not wet! Cannot get a new one or refund unless she brought her food back to designated place to meet the driver. She is in the middle of study and it will take 10 minutes walk one way to meet the driver. It was not a big money but it was so frustrating to deal with. The manager at Delizia made a statement after I called and complaint to him about the food (that my daughter got today was spoiled) and slice app he used for his website, so many people scammed him. I told him I don't have a problem with the first order which was great. But had a problem with today's order. Basically he just acussed me to scam him to get a refund or a new food. Shake my head :( Based on my experience from both of the orders : do not order from Slice if you want to order from Delizia. Just call them directly. Please take a picture of your food if there's something wrong with it. Delizia's manager is not the friendliest people for food industry. Be ready if the food is come out wrong, you might not get refund. I hope no one get...

TL:DR: Ordered a simple pizza and was given the wrong one. They charged me $25 for the wrong pizza and there is nothing special about it except the dough. Overpriced not worth the money. Go to Brothers instead.

Another year another pizzeria in town another disappointment. My sister ordered 1 pizza half cheese half pepperoni and we were delivered the wrong pizza. We got a specialty pizza from what it looks like that had At least 3 cheeses, pepperoni and mushrooms on it. We were charged $25 for that specialty pizza instead of the one we ordered. They did deliver the pizza that we initially ordered but the damage was done.

$25 for a pizza is way to over priced especially for a specialty pizza. I've had way better specialty pizzas for $18-$20. There is barely any sauce on the pizza or close to none which I assume we were given a white pizza but it still had pepperoni and mushrooms on it. I think they used American cheese or cheddar cheese which doesn't fit with the pizza it overpowers it at some parts. The only good thing was the dough which is the reason why I gave it a two star and not a one star.

Unfortunately, I really wanted to have another option for pizza in this town but yet again it's another disappointment. Brothers is still the way...
