I visited for a quick lunch. It had a reasonable crowd for the area and I was served quickly and by a courteous pizza man. And while it had a lot of choices many looked good, I played it safe with 2 Sicilian. Well.... I need to put it simply, they weren't worth the $4.50 a slice and just weren't very good. The cheese didn't stretch or and almost appears like it never melted together in the first cook, never mind the reheat. The crust is plain as can be, and white the texture was terrific, a nice light crust on the outside and a perfectly cooked inside, it had no taste worth mentioning. In a way it reminded me of school pizza. Not a compliment. If it were the only place in town, I'd definitely stop back and try again. But it isn't, and while I'm certainly not upset at paying a little over $9. For two average sized slices, there are certainly better tasting options in the area... I tried... It was disappointing.

Loyalty has its rewards, and for our family, Di Raimo's has been a reliable place for good clean Italiano food for years! Consistency and a friendly staff are the key ingredients of their secret recipe. We are rather picky about what we eat so fresh ingredients are what we look for. We love the pizza, but these guys also make some of the best meatballs you'll find anywhere, juicy, firm (but not hard), and not saturated with salt. Healthy salads are another of our favorites, and Spaghetti made to order with meat sauce that will tickle your tummy 😋 (I like it spicy...just ask and you'll get it your way - any day) It's a great place run by a great family. Try it.... I think you'll get hooked! PS - and for a Healthy Vegan dish, try a big helping of steamed broccoli with sweet red peppers, onion & garlic! ...no oil - JUST PURE ANT-VAMPIRE POWER!! - They make it just the way like it. This long standing pizza place has been a favorite for so many Huntington locals, myself included. Always fresh, hot and served as quickly as possible. The chicken roll is a great value and a meal in itself. Ample seating, nothing fancy, parking is very easy too. Prices are a tiny bit lower then a lot of other places I've been to throughout the Island.

My advice, DITCH your pizza when you want EXCEPTIONAL, OUT OF THIS WORLD sauce, the PERFECT amount of cheese, and toppings that are unique and go to DiRaimo!! I'm from the city and I've never had such excellent sauce flavoring/seasoning and something extra.. sweet garlic? I had this sauce on the side one time when I ordered multiple items, I used the leftover for a few toast the next couple of days, yum.. seriously, that is nothing like anything I've tasted at other authentic Italian pizza places/restaurants... and the sausage onion pizza! I will never* enjoy any other slice ever again, seriously, they have ruined me... I am not usually this worked up over pizza, nor Italian (sorry, I'm SE Asian, I'm so used to our flavors and spices). Also, they have their own crushed red pepper it seems... uh, drool, I'm going to be asking for that again next...
