I’ve now been to Bar Petite a couple of times, and both visits were excellent. The second time we even brought friends from out of town, and they loved it just as much.
Between us, we’ve tried the Thai Burnt Ends, Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna, Spanish Flatbread, Potstickers, Bacon Wrapped Apricots, Fish Tacos, Orange Chicken Wings, and Roasted Vegetable Flatbread and everything has been delicious. The food is consistently fresh and creative, and the small plate style makes it fun to try a little bit of everything.
We’ve also sampled about half a dozen cocktails, all of which were well made and enjoyable. A few of the sweeter drinks were a touch too sweet for my personal taste, but that’s just preference, I still finished every drop.
On our first visit, there was live music that added to the lively and fun atmosphere. Service has been consistently great, the same waiter helped us on both visits, and he was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable.
All in all, Bar Petite is a gem. Great food, great cocktails, great vibe. We’ll definitely...
Read moreEvery time I’ve been to Bar Petite I’ve had a fantastic experience. John, the owner, is welcoming and not overbearing. He ensures you are comfortable and keeps an eye on your needs. The cocktails are delicious, and if you’re not feeling one of the different cocktails on the menu, you can ask for a surprise. The bartender asked what my preferences and typical drinks were and supplied an amazingly refreshing concoction. Edgar, the head chef, provides consistently delicious food in the form of small plates (with the exception of a couple entree portions). My favorites include the grilled octopus, bacon wrapped apricots, sashimi tacos, and Spanish flatbread. The new beef ravioli are a must try! For anyone expecting the old wine bar and wine selection of Bin 56, this could not be further from what John has created in the cocktail lounge that is now Bar Petite. He has breathed new life into previously...
Read moreWent to Bar Petite on a Thursday night. It filled up. Happy that some of the food was similar to Bin 56- since they kept my favorites- like the cocas flat bread that is now called. Spanish pizza. They also have Brie, fig jam and toasted baguette slices as well as lobster ravioli. There is a different but good vibe at Bar Petite with cocktails and Martinis. Really wanted my fav Malbec wine that they used to serve- Haicienda- but they didn’t have it. They did have other wines available. My Pinot Noir had not been chilled unfortunately but my friend’s white wine was chilled. Like the lower seating rather than the taller tables. Nice paint job. Still my fav place to...
