Absolutely horrible! I would highly suggest not going to Toast & Co. First of all, cleanliness. With all the hype you would expect a clean and modern restaurant. However, the restaurant was very much the opposite. The laminate tables were peeling apart, the booths were all cracked, the menus were sticky and the floor was covered in food. Next, the service. The service was awful. We asked for a minute to look at the menu and our waitress didn't come back for at least 15 minutes to take our order. Food took quite a while to get out, and also came out at different times. Also, our waitress did not check in on us at all! We had to attempt to get her attention multiple times until we could finally refill our drinks! Ok, now for the food. Although pretty, the food was mediocre. The cannoli waffles were pretty good, nothing crazy. They tasted almost exactly like the tuxedo pancakes from IHOP. The banana fosters pancakes were horrible! They were drenched in syrup and soggy. The bananas didn't taste fresh at all! Although the waffles were good, the food in general was not at all worth the price. So now for the price, if your looking for a reasonably priced restaurant, this definitely is not it! You could probably go to IHOP and get triple the amount of food, and wind up with the same numbers on the bottom of your bill. Refills cost the price of another drink, which is around $4. Your getting much smaller portions than other diners or restaurants for a lot larger price. To give you some insight, the total was around $85 for 4 people. We only got one dish each. I would not suggest visiting...

I went to Toast this past Sunday with a friend who raved about the place. It all started off well until I ordered my food and decided to use the restroom. The ladies room was out of service so I waited at the door of the men's room which was occupied. The door opens and out walks a male employee. I go into the restroom, use the facilities, only to then find there was NO SOAP in the bathroom at all. I opened the door and asked a female employee for soap and told her it was disgusting to see employees using the restroom without washing their hands. As I sat back down to tell my friend, I see the same male employee serving food to guests! I was appalled so I asked our waitress for a manager. The very same female employee that I told about the lack of soap comes over and says SHE is the manager and tries to assure me that she took him aside and made sure he washed his hands in the kitchen. Ok, maybe she did, maybe she didn't. I have no way to know this. However, aside from the disgusting incident itself, I was also very put off that I made that initial complaint without this woman identifying herself as the manager! No good manager would do that. Having been in a position to manage staff many times, the moment a complaint is made, you identify yourself as the person in charge and assure the customer it will be dealt with swiftly. This woman is the worst manager I have ever seen. No wonder her staff is disgusting. Will...

Went to Toast for breakfast today and had a disappointing experience. At the end of our meal, I unfortunately had a roach crawling on the booth seat right next to me which I killed with a napkin and brought it discreetly over to the front staff. The staff member did apologize, although I must say they did not seem surprised, which was a bit concerning. There was no discount offered or any additional apology made by the staff or manager. Paid $60 including tip.

I am sure all restaurants have roaches and other bugs at various times but to have one crawling on the seat while you are eating is off putting, to put it mildly.

The service was very good, the table server was friendly and attentive. The two-star review is not reflective of the service staff.

Review of the food before the roach appeared:

The benedict popover looked delicious and was presented really well, but it was lacking in all flavor and did not really taste like anything.

The omelettes are made more French style where the fillings are laid inside the omelette with the eggs folded over, they are not incorporated into the egg. If you prefer your omelettes with the fillings Incorporated into the egg, you may be disappointed here. The egg was cooked well and the flavor was good.

Atmosphere 7/10 Service 9/10 Food 6/10 Roach visitor 0/10, do...

This Might Be One of the Most ORIGINAL Brunch Spots on Long Island 🤯🍳 Brunch at Toast and Co and wow… this place is DIFFERENT in the best way. The Garlic Eggs Thai Style is a must-try for a reason — sunny side eggs cooked in olive oil with pesto, garlic, cilantro, and crispy garlic sourdough. So unique and insanely good. The Scotia Omelet with smoked salmon, scallions, and melted goat cheese was rich and balanced, and the German Pancake? A skillet-baked masterpiece loaded with caramelized apples, berries, and maple syrup. Unreal. If you’re talking about the best brunch spots on Long Island, this place absolutely deserves to be in the conversation. Original, delicious, and somewhere I’ll definitely be back to. #L#LongIslandBrunchB#BrunchGoalsF#FoodieFindsH#HuntingtonNYmusttryeats

Philly Stuffer Omelette: seared BBQ marinated steak, caramelized onions, peppers, mushrooms, monterey jack cheese, chefs house sauce, finished with warm sour cream grape tomato confit. $16 Range... Spoiler: Crab cakes are on the menu too which is a fav of mine but not Lump Crab Meat mostly a bread filler which is a disappointment... Great ambiance, pretty good service, prices are $$$ fair for the area of Huntington, Ny. My only suggestion is that they add more meat in the actual Philly Stuffer Omelette and dont place the small 4 strips in the dead center of the omelette. 👍🏼👌🏽 Service⭐⭐⭐⭐ Food⭐⭐⭐ Ambiance ⭐⭐⭐ Drinks ⭐⭐

The last time I came here was about 8 years ago. The place has revamped and it's spacious for a diner/breakfast place. Our server was very attentive and would bring us "stuff" even before we asked. Very service oriented. We ordered the French toast sticks to share and it was good but a tad too heavy (deep fried). I had the skillet with potatoes, mushroom ,veg and 2 overeasy eggs. Very filling and tasted good. We also ordered the breakfast burrito not realizing it was also fried...not a big fan but we ate everything inside the burrito.
