Guac Shop Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

I went to guac shop for the first time today and it will unfortunately be my last. I came in and wasn’t greeted no big deal but both workers looked me right in the face and went on doing what they were doing. I then proceeded to order and the lady helping me was unnecessarily rude for no reason. I got a bowl with brown rice beans one scoop steak queso onion jalapeño cheese and sour cream. I had done the math and my total would’ve came out to around $14 dollars and that’s what it was on the pos system until she clicked another button and now my total was magically $18.76. Before I could say something she walked away and I asked for a receipt because I had no idea why the price went up. She gave me a look, gave the receipt and rolled her eyes when walking away. I take a look at the receipt and see she charged me for two scoops of barbacoa which is priced way higher than the steak??? Needless to say this was very disappointing customer service when there was absolutely no reason...

I used to like guac shop as they always had good quality, tasty food with good portion sizes, and it was perfcet balanced meal after workout. Lately, people working at Commack location are not aware of protein portion sizes, when asked I was told portion size for chicken is 4oz, however, when I measured the portion (served on side), it was only 2 oz. And its multiple employees, sometiems taking shortcuts in chaging containers when an ingredient is finished. Company should work on training all staff on quantity, quality and portions of food so there is consistency. I would not like to continue going if I am charged for full entree and given only half of protein portions. Its not worth my money anymore...

The atmosphere is very nicely decorated with some beautiful art work and murals! Very clean location as well. Food is very high quality and fresh product constantly rotates into the line. Lots of great sauces and hot or cold toppings to choose from--portion sizes are very generous. Very easy to create a clean, low-calorie, fulfilling and nutritious meal! Also offers many great cheat day options. My favorite are the quesadillas that you could build. Service is very kind and will gladly walk through all of the options that they offer to give you the best...
