Plaster Funcraft — Local services in Town of Huntington

Came here a week ago to try this place for the first time with my 6yo she loved it.. she painted i didnt... Confirmed they would be opened for mothers day because she was so excited to come back and I was going to paint with her. We walked in at 4:45 mothers day.. same time as last time and the woman behind the desk asked us if we were planning on painting there or to go... didnt even say hello... i wasnt even aware that painting to go was an option. I told her our plan was to paint there and her response was "oh well i was going to close early...but since you want to paint go pick out your pieces prices are on the bottom" a little discouraged i walked over to pick out pieces with my daughter and the woman proceeded to make a phone call talking about how we walked in and now she can't come to wherever she was going to go and if she leaves right at 6 (which is the time they close) it wouldnt make sense because it would be too late.... I'm a business owner. I get wanting to leave a little early to be more involved in family/friend time outside of work especially whenits slow but there was another family inside and we wouldve been done about the same time (judging from thier progress..) but did you have to make the phone call infront of us? Why would i stay somewhere knowing im rushed and unwanted? Why would you even make it a point to tell me you were closing early if you were going to let us stay and paint? If you were planning on closing early you should of educated us of that upon entering...shut your "open" sign off. Not told me last monday youd be open but your hours would be different. Awful customer service :'( next time ill just go to Michaels and get all supplies atleast there maybe ill get a hello before im rushed...

The place is good, im not gonna lie. But the management... the woman who appeared to be in charge is so rude, she pretends to be nice but she is just rude. I work for DDI, a place for people with mental disabilities, we do outings so the guys can have a good time. I took 5 of our guys there and off the bat, we walked in and this lady said "next time, please call if you're bringing a group" 5 PEOPLE. FIVE!!!! ITS NOT LIKE I BROUGHT 20!!!!!! She set us up and ny guys started doing their painting, half of them were done, the rest wasn't, i was waiting for the other 2 to finish and she started to grab their brushes and paint containers and said "I'm gonna ring you up okay?" I have never felt more offended in my life. She pretty much kicked us out and left 2 of the guys with incomplete crafts. We literally spent about 15 minutes there, and we were pretty much rushed outta there. Worst place ever. If you really want a good place to do stuff like this, go to Plaster Kraze Inc, in Selden. So much better and you and your kids are not gonna...

I bought a voucher for my child for Christmas. I drove there without getting my wallet because we had a voucher but they said it didn’t include taxes. Which is around $1. I had to drive all the way back home to get more money. I was annoyed and asked them to make sure that next time they charge proper amount that includes taxes so that people didn’t look funny and didn’t have to drive back to get that dollar. The lady who said was an owner in a very rude way said “they don’t have to do anything. They put as much as you said”. How can I tell them how much to charge me ?? I can’t define the price for them. All I asked a voucher to be able to use and even selected the figurine. I can’t tell them how much it would cost and I was sure I took care of everything.” That’s ridiculous. Instead of apologizing she kept acting rude. So be prepared to be misinformed and mistreated. The hole mood was spoiled. The day was ruined. We used to come here a lot because we live closeby but not coming back anymore. I bought a few vouchers. Will return...
