Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Town of Irondequoit

having only tried them twice in the past, once when the Greece spot opened and once while traveling i decided to give it one more go. So against my better sense of morality and community i decided to see if the hype was really worth it.

So the misses and I were out running errands and it was earlier enough the lines were fairly short. this how ever did not mean a quick experience. the chick-fil-a minions were en mass taking order, but they were not tagging cars properly so the order runners had no clue who was getting what. it was fairly chaotic. I had ordered a chicken deluxe and a side of mac n cheese, she got nuggets and fries.

after a 20 min wait for this simple order we pulled over to snack in an adjacent parking lot. I had requested mayo on my sandwich, there was none, nor did they provide us with a fork to eat the mac n cheese nor napkins. She did receive her sauces. for such a long wait and cluster fudge to get the order having such errors was a bit disappointing.

but the disappointment didn't end there. as was my previous experiences what i got was a dry chicken sandwich that tastes vaguely of pickles. hardly the cult following worthy sammie every one raves about. maybe before the chicken sandwich wars they were special but I found it not worth the hype, and definitely not worth breaking my moral senses of loving my fellow humans and supporting my community. the bigotry's of their corporate over lords is not worth over looking for a mediocre chicken sandwich. Not to mention their fries are always soggy.

So no thank you, I wont be back there's better chicken sandwiches out there that come with out the guilt of...

We stopped by our Irondequoit Chick-fil-A today about 10:45am to pick up a free lemonade and peach milkshake. My wife ordered on the app and we received an app update on the way. I looked at drive through no cars empty, so was thinking what is taking so long. Therefore, I decided to get out and go in restaurant. I went straight to Pick-Up counter saw my lemonade ready but no milkshake told cashier we are waiting for our milkshake. She proceeded to make it took about another 3-5 minutes which was no problem. My issue is when I went inside no customers were present only workers and I had already observed nobody in drive through. I did hear the manager talking about taking 4th of July pictures and had workers focusing on that instead of a customer in lobby. I have visited this Irondequoit Chick-fil-A several times since they have opened and they continue not to meet the Chick-fil-A standards I am accustomed to. The service is usually delayed, we have received incorrect orders and it seems they don’t use the “my pleasure” when the hand you your food. Sadly, we usually have to report this to Chick-fil-A support. I am a faithful Chick-fil-A supporter and having been buying their food for over 20yrs. I stopped in for dinner for my favorite Spicy Chicken Deluxe meal and got the Oreo Milkshake (a definite must get!). So I placed my order, waited a very short time and my meal was hot & ready.

As I was just getting started to eat a few bites, an employee was bringing out another meal for me. It was an honest mistake as it was the same exact order the I had received (and was beginning to devour). So ultimately, the employee said well, today's your lucky day and handed me the bag. I was very appreciative of the kindness and gesture.

It just rings true how great a company Chick-fil-A truly is. I've always been met with kindness and really good values.

Company-wide, involving several locations, specifically Minneapolis and Rochester, I have had some glitches, bad experiences in the past with food either being lukewarm to almost cold (in the drive thru with a breakfast sandwich order, no napkins, an order that got cancelled, and a few other issues. But time and time again, Chick-fil-A always stood up and showed awesome kindness and willingness to resolve any and all issues.

Even beyond fixing issues, the company has always somehow shown themselves to be above and beyond a great fastfood restaurant. They are the Gold Star brand, the North Star of...
