Bright Bay — Restaurant in Town of Islip

Usually a go to place for me for years to get a good egg sandwich. Unfortunately I had a bad experience this last time I went. I asked for two sandwiches, both with butter and toasted. But I get them and they had ketchup on them( I despise ketchup on breakfast😤😤😤), I go back in and someone who I think either owner or manager ask me what's going on, I tell him then he took back the sandwich throws it out aggressively. He again asked me what I want .... Gives me the sandwich which I think is correct now. I go to my car to enjoy it and then I taste something sweet and its a honey or other type of ham I never asked for. We didn’t even eat our food yet but need to give 5 stars based off service. My wife and I called an order in for hero’s and we had the NICEST person assisting. I wish I got his name! He was so happy to be there- happy to help. Accommodated my 4738574 requests with a smile on his face. We found you off Google and ensured to check the reviews before- and just thankful to have someone young, who was happy to be there and assist us. He pounded us on the way out- ….! Bargain of the day goes to Bright Bay Deli. Premade tossed salad with fresh mixed greens, cucumber, roasted red pepper, carrots, cherry tomatoes and hard boiled egg all for $4.95. I went with the house dressing and they go in the back and made that fresh too. I told them they can charge more, what I didn't tell them is I would've been willing to pay $8 or $9 for that same salad. Nice job guys! I eat on the road every day with my job and it was nice to get a good lunch for under $10. Tucked back just off Sunrise Hwy...it's worth finding this place for good food at...
