Food King Chinese Kitchen — Restaurant in Town of Islip

Went in to order dinner for two. Counterperson was on the phone so I waited to place my order. While waiting I observed a worker chopping pork and vegetables ON THE SAME TABLE. That is called cross-contamination and it can make you ill enough give you cramps and diarrhea from salmonella with a trip to the EMERGENCY ROOM at the local hospital! The worker then blew his nose into a handkerchief and stuffed it into his pocket. What followed was that he then picked at his nose with his fingers then picked up the chopping tool and then sliced up the pork and after that, without washing his hands, handled the vegetables! The female counterperson had just hung up the phone and her attention was now focused upon me. She asked, "What you want to order?" I just turned around and walked out NEVER to ever return! The favorable reviews are apparently from people who just run inside to pick up a telephone order and didn't stay long enough to observe how improperly they handle what you are going to eat! The "good" reviews are from people who stop in for a minute or two just to pick up a take-out order. They are never in there long enough to observe what is taking place when the workers cough and sneeze right over the woks with food cooking in them, without covering their mouths. We have, when we formerly ordered there, seem them scratching their their private areas, picking at their faces and/or rubbing their sweating faces using their bare hands and then picking up ingredients to throw into the wok! It's totally unsanitary and we WILL NEVER EVER again set foot in the place! If you're smart you won't...

OMG I live right around the corner this used to be my go to every Friday night but lately there food is going down the drain with all there prices going up you think that the food quality is great I just ordered sweet and sour shrimp last night got home and it was not only oily but hard and burnt what do you think I work very hard everyday now that you turn your head you pick up the prices and serve food like this sorry over 20 years I been your go to now I will travel to another town and spend my hard earned money somewhere else never again Bayshore...

This place is horrible. They are rude and unprofessional. You place an order with these crooks and they take the money out of your account . You wait a half an hour for your food to come . They then call you back to state that they don’t deliver to Islip because it far from them. Your restaurant is in Bayshore. This is ridiculous!!!!! You don’t take a customers order take their money have them wait and then say it too far to deliver too even after they came to deliver to you twice already plus gave a tip!!!! Bad Business don’t order from these...
