So I come in and it’s slow as it’s not yet dinner time and usually the whole counter is full with product galore….. the slices all looked dry and not much to choose from. No chicken rolls or anything but slices. Ok no problem as it’s slow I guess. What bothered me is that there was some girl in the middle of the counter area preparing a bag of food for a Togo order and she told the older gentleman who was bald, about 5 foot 10 inches give or take Caucasian, about 220lbs give or take, I’d say mid 50s to 60 making pie. She made an error and didn’t cut something and was apologizing for it and the man seemed disgusted and she literally looked like she was going to cry. So then two other girls hop on over out of nowhere and help me at the register and we’re pleasant. I asked if there were any back up chicken rolls of any kind or pin wheels and the man wouldn’t even speak shook his head like he couldn’t be bothered and the girl said it would be a little bit to make one after seeing him again shake his head in disgust without even offering to make one as I guess he was the only one there to make pie and product. Either way if he was a manger of any sort the attitude was not like I’ve seen here before as the place is always so accommodating and again full of fresh product…. Guess Thursdays at 445 is the wrong time to come in there. The energy was very tense and the employees seemed nervous. The customer acknowledgment and hospitality was not it today. I love this place but I’m sorry you don’t create that kind of environment for employees and or guests walking through the door. Good thing I bought 6 slices to go and didn’t even ask to heat them up as you could feel the negativity from the moment t you walked in. Cmonnnnnn baby smile! It’s manja time! Be nice and grateful for such a successful establishment because if that happens now on a regular the place will for sure be doomed. Btw has management changed here!? It’s been a while and I’m curious as this is the first time I’ve seen...
Read more🤮🤮🤮 Vinnies Mulberry Street, Bayshore. This is gross - warning. Went in to pick up our weekly order last Friday. As soon as I walked in, a young girl behind the counter was rubbing and scratching her bare stomach with her hands, coughing into her shirt and then touching everything. She then licks her finger while talking to another employee and then...begins to CUT MY PIZZA with her hands touching the box and my pizza. I asked to speak to a manager, but a different young girl attended to my issue. I said - 'I am not taking that pizza', and explained why. She goes and tells an older bald male manager - who instructs her to tell me that they will remake my pizza. He does not come over, does not aologize, and does not address the insane hygine issue I just saw. She is not asked to go wash her hands, or even spoken to. She literally just keeps it moving.... Then, coughing girl in question looks at me, says 'sorry' and then begins to cough into her shirt, while looking dead at me - lifting it so high that I see the tops of her bra! After coughing and exposing herself, she proceeds to dump a filthy looking plastic tub of ice into the soda machine, using her hands to assist. Then....she continues coughing, and goes to refill the all the napkins and spices - putting her hands on TOP of every spice jar while filling it and putting them on the tables/counter. At this point, I dont want my food, I want my money back but am so grossed out I want OUT of there. When my fresh pizza comes, the cook is mean mugging me and the 'non-coughing non-manager' girl says - we gave you some zepps. Uhhh....thanks? Three days later I began to come down with norovirus. Not saying its connected but I have never been so grossed out by a pizzeria experience in my LIFE. We were weekly patrons but the fact that no manager addressed me, no one made her wash her hands and that they just kept it moving makes me think they need a food...
Read moreFirst off, I never leave bad reviews, but the inedible food+terrible customer service just put me over the edge here. Just had my last "meal" here, if you could even call it that. So disappointed... Tortellini soup - lukewarm water with 5 tortellini and a handful of raw spinach. Large garden salad with grilled chicken- 3 wilted tomatoes and 3 cucumber slices with a couple canned olives and clearly unwashed sliced carrot over warm, wet romaine. Grilled chicken was inedible- clearly microwaved previously made chicken and I could barely chew it. Also gave enough dressing for maybe half a side salad, when I clearly ordered extra in the first place and repeated myself 3 times to get the extra dressing because they ALWAYS forget something in our orders. Pizza- white slice and regular slice, basic and nothing special. We used to love this place, it's so sad to see such a quick decline and how management just really doesn't care about the quality of food or the customer service they put out. I cannot say this enough- DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF ORDERING/DINING HERE. We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt too many times because we like to support local businesses and this one USED TO BE great. I'm all out of giving this place a chance. Overpriced, bad quality, tasteless food, horrible customer service. Call Buseto of Bay Shore, you won't be disappointed. We are officially done with Mulberry Street after trying to give it so many chances and will never give them our...
