love the food and the staff are friendly. but there where it stop there for me.1st thing is that the food doesn't include calories on the menu. 2nd when you try to order on the phone you cant get through i tried for days and the line was always busy .and if you are even lucky to place a order it a good 45 min to 1hr 20 in for your food to be ready .3th if you decide to take a ride there lots of luck trying to find a parking spot .4th if you decide to eat there the line are to long because they only have only register to help the customers. 5th there not enough tables to accommodate a moderate crowd that eats there .6th it seems that the only people that clean the tables is the customer that sit there.my over all experience is that the food is good but the experience sucks. but for my money and taste i will stick to energy fuel in deer park where you don't have to wait a hour to get through to place your order on line or wait a a hour to pick up your food it usually ready in 15 min where they have a bigger variety on the menu and calories and the prices are affordable so what do you have to lose give it a try.your stomach and pocket will thank you i give it 5 stars ,ps while writing this review i kept trying to get through to bubbas but the phone is still busy so...
Read moreWent to Bubba's Burrito Bar on a recommendation. Ok. It is a quick lunch and yeah an extra star for the young lady server with the bling ring. Its fast food and fast order. You stand on line and either, check the website via cell phone QR or read the board above the counter. You order pay and get a receipt. 10 or so minutes later, your order is ready. Seating outside. Didn't see recycling bins but counter person took glass bottle saying they will recycle it. (not sure if that means 69 in the garbage) They even had a rain barrel with a spigot outside. Ramp and easy access from back. Little tables and chairs in a nook and cranny narrow backyard. It works. Take the food from the bags with the plastic silverware and the bottles of drink, chips and salsa, and your are all set to eat. The special was a corn chowder. It actually tasted pretty good. The Surf and Turf- recommended by a worker there, wrapped in a burrito cover, was to say, ok. The steak meat was very chewy, the rice sticky and the sauce eh. A place to go and get a lunch. Yeah, it was actually really busy with what seems to be a good following of people who enjoy this type of food. Ya know that old rhyme about beans, beans good for your heart, the more you eat... Well maybe being outside was a good idea...
Read moreAs a young man I heard tales of a burrito place in a far off land that preformed miracles. I was young, foolish and naive and never made my way to these so-called “messiah” burritos. One day a friend offered me a ride and I finally decided to come. I was never a huge burrito guy so when I went I got a quesadilla and it was pretty good. But then I went again and my friends convinced me to get a burrito and I got the Guilt TripTM. Upon entrance my mouth was transported into a world unknown. The burrito took my taste buds on to a whole new plane of existence. My heart skipped a beat, I wasn’t sure if it was from the unholy amount of cholesterol entering my body or for my new found love. It was as if I had been blind my whole life and now I could see. My friend John used to be horribly disfigured before he went to Bubbas Burrito Bar, and now he plays Uncle Jessie in famed television show, Full House. I was a devout Catholic before my trip to Bubbas but after the Guilt Trip, I know I have seen true heaven and it is located in Islip. As Albert Einstein once said, “Two things are infinite: the universe and Bubba’s Burritos; and I'm not sure about...
