Charleys Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in Town of Islip

Rude staff, hardly able to communicate since I don't speak Spanish...weird... Came here to place an order for my customer through a delivery service and specifically said NO CHEESE as per the customers request... They can't have dairy.... After saying "no cheese" to both the cashier who took my order, and the girl making the sandwich, they still slapped on like 6 slices of cheese. What is so hard to understand? I told them again that I said no cheese and they were mad at me for "not telling them" and refused to make me a new sandwich. Seriously? Id suggest the manager/owner of this place make sure the employees definitely speak fluent English, and Spanish is a plus... But fluent Spanish and just a little English isnt going to work out here. This is a mall... Not everyone is going to speak Spanish... Regardless if alot of people in the area speak Spanish. English is a requirement. No means No in English and Spanish tho, so there shouldn't have been a miscommunication. The place is specializing in Cheesesteaks... So the words NO and CHEESE should be known here.... But...

I love the cheese steaks and fries. Lovely...but I have a problem. Every time I order via grubhub I ask for an unsweetened iced tea, Because I am diabetic, I get a very sweetened lemonade. It says on the receipt unsweetened iced tea so I am unsure where the disconnect is. Since it's a grubhub (i'd do this if it was any other delivery option) I don't bother to call in and try to get it fixed. The first one I dumped, this second one I gave to a family member. It's just makes it harder for me to order from...

I do online orders usually. Today I went in because I had time. I tell the cashier a regular combo and my strawberry lemonade. Order came out wrong, seems that he didn’t hear me right. So another lady was like “sure, we’ll fix it but you gotta pay the difference.” It wasn’t my fault it came out wrong and you want me to pay for it and keep standing around. Nah.
