I visited the booth yesterday to replace a baguette rope chain that was unraveling through warranty . I was racially profiled and judged from the minute I walked up to the booth. A young girl clearly didn’t not know the policies and procedures . The girl claimed that the chain I had was not from pagoda / banter and that all of their chains had an Italy stamp which is funny bc I always saw the chains said they were stamped turkey regardless she tried to say my chain was not from there and people are bringing outside chains there for Returns, it wasn’t until I had to get irate and show her me and my husbands multiple chains and earrings we had on was from there. The chain is a specialty rope bauguette chain and I had it replaced under warranty from the previous massapequa location , I brought a pendant at the same time and explained that to her so finally she says I had a warranty which at first they said it expired a month ago and then they said it expired a week ago . The incompetent girl made us walk to the other booth where the manager was and we originally walked passed the managers booth after five minutes because she was on her phone lollygagging with a random bystander , anyways once we get to the other booth with the manager she listens to the incompetent and they’re inspecting our chain and they can’t call sunrise mall massapequa because they are no longer in business so she finally goes in the cabinet finds a similar chain and starts comparing that it was all because the sku label was changed , they offered to swap out the chain but my generous husband wanted a different one and ended up buying a chain anyways tht was stamped Turkey and the incompetent girl asked my husband to provide an ID to match up with the name on the credit card which has NEVER happened to us , regardless they lost a seriously committed customer that has spent thousands in the past and because we planned on spending a lot of money this day to buy family gifts . I made a purchase, my bank approved I signed for transaction and associate did not want to give me the items I purchased. My credit card was charged, store associate unable to provide any documentation stating the transaction was not processed. Store associates refused to give me their names to refer back to for my records for dispute. But find it ok to give me other customers name and transaction info.. Next they couldn't get my card to work, and kept insisting that it was a problem specific to my card, essentially shifting the blame to me. I said nothing. Next they begged me to go to the atm so I could pay them in cash. Omw to do so I check my balance and noticed that they've already charged my card. I go back and they apologize. Again I say nothing. Now its Christmas day and I wake up to realize that they charged me twice for that transaction. Bc of the holiday Im going to have to wait 3 days to get my money back.
