My review happens only a couple of weeks after opening. It caught my attention with its promising farm-to-table concept and cozy atmosphere. As someone who enjoys supporting local businesses, I was eager to see what they had to offer.
Food 2/5 Unfortunately, the kitchen execution was disappointing. The sausage in my breakfast was notably under-cooked, which is both unappetizing and concerning from a food safety standpoint. The hash browns arrived mushy rather than crispy, lacking the golden texture you'd expect. On the positive side, the coffee was quite good. I ordered the egg in the hole and my wife had the Florentine omelet. My wife experienced moderate digestion issues.
Service 5/5 The service team truly shines here. The staff was consistently attentive and genuinely friendly throughout our meal. Coffee refills came frequently without having to ask.
Ambiance 5/5 The atmosphere is exactly what you'd want from a farmhouse-style restaurant - cozy and inviting with thoughtful decor. Fair warning that it fills up quickly during peak breakfast and brunch hours, so plan accordingly.
Cleanliness 5/5 Being a newer establishment, everything maintains that fresh, pristine feel. The dining areas are spotless, and the restroom was very clean. Even passed my inconspicuous dust test on less obvious surfaces.
Parking 3/5 There's parking behind the restaurant with a convenient rear entrance, which is great when available. However, during busy periods, you may find yourself hunting for street parking or paying for a nearby lot.
Value 3/5 At around $50 for breakfast for two with tip, the pricing is reasonable for the portion sizes and setting. However, the inconsistent food quality significantly undermines the value proposition.
Overall 3/5 This place has all the right ingredients for success - excellent service, lovely atmosphere, and fair pricing. The food quality remains the primary obstacle preventing a much higher rating. The kitchen simply isn't executing menu items properly, which is quite disappointing given the potential. I plan to give them another chance in a few months, hoping they work out these fundamental preparation issues. If the food quality doesn't improve, it would be a real shame given how well they've nailed...
Read moreWent there opening weekend food was amazing was seated fairly quickly Service who is great. Tried to go back a week later couldn’t even get in the place. Seating was 45 minutes to an hour. Wait as to have coffee had to pay out-of-pocket it took them 20 minutes to prepare the coffee in the meantime, was standing at the service bar speaking to another couple. They were waiting for over an hour already wound up, walking out. Once again today, Thursday at around noon, was able to be seated almost immediately. Service was great coffee wasn’t all that good this time. Food wasn’t on par with opening weekend. Actually, very disappointed all in all feel like they were just trying really hard for opening weekend and now they’ve gotten a little bit lax I got the same meal. I got opening weekend so I can definitely attest...
Read moreThe food was excellent, very good and came out hot, of course the business is just getting started so service was a little slow but that’s expected which we had to wait 15 to 20 minutes for a table. The most annoying thing however was the door, the door kept slamming shut because the seal to the door was broken, so what the hostess in the front thought was the wind slamming the door shut, it wasn’t… it was the broken seal, we had to move away from the door because we didn’t want to see the glass smash with the way the door kept being slammed, it doesn’t take much to fix the door before a hundred pieces of glass shatter everywhere and someone gets hurt. Overall though great place, food was excellent and I will be...
