If you're looking for the generic taco/burrito place every southshore town seems to have where preppy White high school and college kids do cooking and serving, "enjoy" your basic crap elsewhere.

Despite being right on Sunrise south service road I drive on daily, I never would have stumbled across this hidden in plain sight gem if I hadn't been lucky enough to coincidentally be fixing the building next door.

This place is authentic, family owned and operated, and most importantly, F'ing delicious! I almost never review anything, but I was wowed, so here we are.

I came in yesterday and had really good birria tacos and a shredded pork pupusa....good enough I came back again today. And im really glad I did because the steak torta i just had was my favorite yet. All the sauces made in house are awesome, especially the dark brown one (if you like some heat).

Short story long, the family that runs this place are great, the food is even better, and I can't wait...

Food was amazing definitely will be going back. I didn't go in to order but my husband did so based on what he told me, the front person taking the orders she was not nice at all and was rude to customers. My husband asked her question and she would just say look at the menu or he had a second quesrion and she started talking to him in spanish because she thought he couldnt soeak English. Another customer waiting said they wouldn't put up with the rudeness but the food is amazing.

Again I would totally give 5 stars its just the customer service from the person taking orders just didn't work. We didn't even care we had a long wait either. But again...
