LA ESPIGUITA HALL — Restaurant in Town of Islip

This has got to be one of the worst experiences I even encountered!!! Has one star because I had no choice but it’s a zero star property!!

First off the charged me $100 for “super VIP” and the regulars got in before everyone that paid the $100

We were so crowded like little cockroaches it was embarrassing… then to top it off there were people fighting especially this one girl with white on and they kept letting her in even though you could tell she was intoxicated!

They called this a hall it was a soccer gym. The artist they supposedly had never came out !!! What a scam!

The bar were those folding tables selling bucket of beers out of Easter baskets … what a shame. I was with 10 people = to $1000 and I couldn’t even get up my seat to use the bathroom!

If the 09/21/24 event was a third party vendor ( which you proclaim in other reviews for other events, even though your business name is on the ticket) then I suggest to stop renting your indoor soccer field to vendors who don’t check ID for a 21&over event, oversell and upsell tickets, allow indoor smoking and allow over charging YOUR community $15 a pupusa. I would hope you would care a little more for your community to not sponsor people who are willing to make an extra buck at any cost. In my opinion you should care to stop enabling misogynistic promoters who have no problem screaming at women and who needed to leave because they felt unsafe. Went to see Raulin Rodriguez. Event (singer) was nice although there is zero space to dance. but the service was horrible. Sent 1k on bottles and they refilled the ice twice in 6 hours. No cups, no napkins, only cash. Plus multiple times i ordered waters and juice gave money never got change they prob kept about 100 bucks in change after me reminding them. Horrible service.
