I mean it's McDonald's, the food is the same at all of them. I go though the drive thru. You get good service from the good employees and bad service from the bad ones, and there are always new faces. There are a couple of employees who are always friendly, rarely forget to give you things (and when they do forget, they are apologetic and accommodating), and seem to know what they're doing. But then there are others who are rude and/or forget certain things like no ice in the drink and the side of ketchup. I went there with my friend, she drove and it was her first time at the location and the level of rudeness made her never want to come back. I don't expect much from kids. Some kids are nice, but other kids don't know how to talk to people. When I got my drink, I politely informed the cashier girl that there was ice in it (I had asked for no ice) and she yells at her coworkers that there was ice in it. I asked for a side of big mac sauce, and the other girl (who is nice) mistakenly told me to pull my car forward (the car behind us was going to have to pull forward after us). My friend started to pull forward, but the first cashier girl said "Wait! I worked hard on that big mac sauce" and gave it to us. The cashier girl was rude, immature, and yelled at her coworkers. The other girl who made the mistake of telling us to pull forward, I've had her before as the main drive thru cashier and she is chill and nice. I was just there now, the guy was fine. Pretty standard. Like I said, I don't really expect much from kids who work at McDonald's, but that is to be expected from pretty much every McDonalds. I will be returning there occasionally on my way home from work. My friend,...
Read moreFirst and foremost, you need to clean your restaurant. Secondly, I always go out of my way to treat food workers with respect, and I didn't even want to bring my coffee back to the counter, but my drink wasn't right. The manager, Christine, became unnecessarily defensive, then snarky, and then rude with me. What she was saying didn't make sense to me, so I tried to politely get out of this bad situation and deal with the other two employees standing at the counter. That's when she raised her voice at me and said, "I'M THEIR BOSS." She shouted that right in front of them. The two other employees both looked embarrassed. At that point, I had to de-escalate her and just get the corporate phone number. The corporate office told me they could compensate me with a gift certificate for a free drink, but I don't even want it. The level of flat-out rudeness that Christine boisterously brought to my lunch break and her grandstanding two much younger employees was really unacceptable. I'll never be able to drive passed that location without remembering that lady's...
Read moreMcDonald's used to be my favorite place to eat as a kid. I have fond memories of going there with my dad and enjoying a Happy Meal and a toy. It was a simple but special treat that made me happy.
But times have changed. McDonald's is no longer the affordable and friendly place it used to be. Their prices have skyrocketed and their quality has plummeted. For a family of six, you will easily spend $60 or more for a meal that is less then desired . They have out priced themselves in this economy and lost their charm.
All the employees were excellent and very respectful and made sure I had everything I needed. The workforce is not the issue. They were lovely
I miss the old McDonald's. The one that made me smile and feel good. The one that was a part of my childhood. The one that was worth every penny. But that McDonald's is gone. And I don't think it's...
