Bring back the specialty sandwiches such as the steak and mushrooms. At my age I am tired of your burgers which are five years older than me. You dropped the price to sixty nine cents for a cheeseburger several years ago to recover your customer base. Gradually the price rose back to one dollar on your ridiculous "Dollar Menu", then disappeared and can now be found at one sixty nine. New items and a new menu design have been added so we can no longer comprehend the choices on the menu. The dollar menu is not front and center but rather off to the left where it cannot be read. We no longer trust that you won't jack the price of a cheeseburger to three dollars while we did not notice. So we read the menu pretending we want something different. No, we are checking prices. This is a psychological advantage for you because we have a line behind us and we go into default mode and order what we know so well anyway. Corporate knows this. The friggin cheeseburger has gotten old like me. You have "solved" the aforementioned problems by introducing the kiosk where we can order and pick up at the counter or be served at our table. Your older demographic may not like that option either. It is something new. We like being served. We once liked the menu board which was once read more rapidly? But the kiosk doesn't take cash in most stores. Back to the counter and the lines we go? Some of us need a tutorial on how to use the damn thing. We simply want to be able to read the menu, order, and not be coerced by the sixteen year old who wants to upsize my order. We don't want to be greeted within five seconds while on final approach to land at the counter. I know your policies. I once had a career at McDonalds many years ago which lasted a week, then I quit. I don't want to do that to customers. You think we like that? Run another focus group. Here is a big positive. I love the right to gripe. I love the dining room and the overall remodeling. There are comfortable seating options which make me forget that you once had a sign that gave me twenty minutes to eat. For the latter you have been forgiven. You may have a soft burger which can be consumed by inhalation in four minutes, but I still like my right to chew... thank you very much. Two stars for the menu, one star added for greater comfort, and one star added for the aesthetic value of your remodeling which caused my burger to climb in price to a dollar sixty nine.
How about one price for any coffee size and sixty nine cents for senior coffee? The cup costs you less than five cents and the java itself is perhaps no more than a dime if you factor in labor costs. Veterans like me will love you. Your PR value will skyrocket. Sixty nine cents to a dollar seems even more reasonable for "senior coffee". When corporate visited recently you had employees in the dining room offering free refills as if this was Oconee Diner. Then you stopped when Corporate left. You underestimate the power of "Undercover Boss". You may continue the free refills at the tables and counters.
Thank you for adopting...
Read moreSo, I picked up food from another restaurant and since I was in the area, stopped to this McDonald's to get my kids food. When I placed my order, it was rather empty inside. As time went by, it got pretty busy. After 15 minutes waiting, I began to get bothered as I'm seeing people who ordered after me, get their food. I tried to get the attention of the woman preparing the orderes, only to be ignored. I patiently waited until I hear they're on order number 214, when my order was 202. I once again hollered a few times to get this lady's attention once again. When she finally stops to listen to me, I question her on my food and that I had been waiting well over 20 minutes. She asked my order number, to then tell me in a rather rude manner, that she gave my food already and that some guy had taken it. I explained that it wasnt my problem if she's not checking the order receipts and she kept talking to me as if I was trying to get my order again after having received it. In other words, lying and stealing. I asked for my money back, having to still wait because the lady at the register had given someone short change and needed the manager to open the register. While waiting, the manager brought me my order. I honestly wanted to throw my bags in her face. These people are so unprofessional and incompetent. I'd gladly...
