Paradise Diner — Restaurant in Town of Islip

Went here with two of my friends. At first our waitress brought me someone else's food. Then when my friend and I ordered a second round of drinks and she came to tell us that they were on their way, she got my friend's drink order wrong, and said, "I already put in a different drink. It's too late now." As if it was anyone's fault but her own. Then later, she took my friends food away before she was even finished eating it. When the three of us were done eating and ready to pay, we did so up front. It was obvious with our methods of payment in hand that we were going to split the bill in three. The woman up front looked at the three of us confused. Then when my friend gave her cash to put on the bill first, it seemed like she was annoyed. When we asked to split the rest on two different cards she freaked out and literally yelled, "Now you screwed me! I can't do that! You screwed me! I can only put it on one card now!" It wasn't that big of a deal for her to react the way that she did. She could have told up simply and at a human tone that she could not do that but no, she yelled at us. Definitely not going back to this...

I came here with my parents last week for a late breakfast... This diner resembles others as far as its ambiance. However, I did not like that most of the booths had duct tape on the seats.

I ordered the challah French toast after my mom's suggestion.... Breakfast is one of my favorite meals so I was very excited to try it. Much to my dismay it wasn't at all worth trying. There was absolutely no flavor....I could have definitely made this at home and it would have been twenty times better.... The turkey bacon and eggs with cheese were ok tho I won't be returning to...

Food is pretty good service could use work. I went here on a Sunday it was pretty dead. Our waitress seemed to be on the tail end of her shift left during our meal new waitress came over to introduce herself and never came back had to flag down the only other waitress at this place that was actually very attentive to her 3 tables for water and anything else we needed. She helped us more than both of our actual waitresses combined. My wife ordered blueberry pancakes and they came out without blueberries cant imagine how bad it would have been if it were...
