Shepard’s The Restaurant at Erlowest — Restaurant in Town of Lake George

I surprised my husband for his birthday by taking him to Shepards The Restaurant at Erlowest and what a magical and unforgettable experience we had! We had dinner in their igloo and it was so beautiful. The staff was so pleasant and made you feel at home. Laurie was a genuine and beautiful person! I coordinated with her prior to getting there because the weather was bad and I really wanted him to experience having dinner in the igloo. She reassured me that it was going to special for him and it truly was! The food was absolutely AMAZING! I can't even find the words to truly describe the quality and taste of their food. As I write this, I am still in awe of the experience. Thank you to the team at Shepards The Restaurant at Erlowest. You all are truly amazing and have touched us indefinitely. We will be returning! My sister and I dined at The Inn at Erlowest, Shepards Restaurant 2 weeks ago...it was over the top!. Chef Scott is amazing. His food is delicious and his presentation is absolutely beautiful! Having traveled all over the world and just getting home from Europe...this restaurant is on top of my list .. you MUST go to!!! The scallops are out of this world! And the risotto is the best I have ever had.....We can't stop talking about it. Our server Alexis was awesome. So kind...so professional. What a beautiful smile. So unique in today's world. Go see for yourself. What an experience you won't...

Wonderful people, professional, friendly, kind staff! Especially Natalie, she is super kind, polite, friendly and good person! She cares about our comfort ! She is the best worker there ! We booked a week ago, and the place, service is impeccable 👌🏻 Very fancy, romantic place! Excellent dessert 🍨 The historical building hotel / restaurant The food was beyond what one can imagine. Each item is a meticulous work of art. Chef deserves to get the Michelin Star. Highly recommend this restaurant if you visit Lake Placid. Inshallah, one of the reasons we would come back...
