Green Haven Resort — Hotel in Town of Lake George

I was looking all over Lake George for a dog friendly stay. I was so happy to find Green Haven Resort because it meet all my expectations. My small dog Teddy enjoyed swimming at dog beach and eating ice cream in the Village. It was nice to come back at the end of the day to a place that is meticulously maintained…. This is a family owned property and they live on the property. They take great pride in keeping the place looking good. From the beautiful flowers that decorate the units to the pool and grounds that are 🧼 CLEAN. They accept dogs and they do a good job maintaining that balance so other guests without dogs feel comfortable. I stayed in the Queen units #20 and it was a perfect place for me and my dog for a two day stay, very clean ZERO ODOR of dog 🐶…. My room gave no indication that dogs have stayed in the room. We had a truly wonderful stay at Greenhaven Resort in Lake George. From the moment we arrived, Barbara and Gregory made us feel incredibly welcome—their hospitality was unmatched. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and comfortable.The entire property was beautifully maintained. The pool was a highlight—crystal clear. Our daughter had a blast swimming while I got to relax poolside, which made it even more enjoyable. The outdoor playset, sandbox and games were an amazing added bonus for her. This was our first visit to Lake George and I ended up booking Green Haven Resort because they were able to accommodate our dog. All went really well. We were in Cabin 12 which was newly-renovated and very nice! The owners are super nice and hard-working. We didn't get to use the pool, but it was super clean and a nice feature. The location is convenient as it's only a few short minutes from the downtown area and a short drive to Bolton Landing.
