The Meadows at Lake Shore — Hotel in Town of Lake George

Felix & Dianna were excellent hosts. They communicated with me from the time I expressed interest in booking to the moment I arrived! They kept me updated on my reservation & informed on the local area. We had such a wonderful time staying here. The cabin was clean & charming. The location was ideal. Really nice cute place. We had a cabin. The owners, Felix and Diana, were very nice and accommodating. Felix gave me his cellphone number and I could text him if I had questions. Overall, very nice place and strongly recommend! Great place for family vacation. Little kitchenette if you prefer to eat your own meals or traveling on a budget. Grill outside and fire pit is a plus to enjoy at night. Great pool. Play area for kids and lots of space to run around. Porch is covered so even if it is raining, you can still enjoy your coffee outside. Very friendly owners. We had awesome time and can't wait to be back. Thank you Diane and Felix! The cabins were comfortable. Felix and his wife were very helpful, friendly and they made sure we had a lovely time. I would for sure recommend this place. They really make you feel like family there. This place is great for family and is never over crowded. We enjoyed our stay. I strongly recommend staying here. Each room is fully decorated; pots and pans, cooking utensils, hangers, and even flowers! A kitchenette is provided as well. The owners are so sweet, and make sure you have a great stay. It’s kid friendly. It has a nice fire pit with comfy chairs around it. A grill is also provided with all the necessities needed to use it. The pool is nice as well. They provide towels. Everyone you see there are very nice and welcoming. This is the perfect getaway from everything that is going on in the world right now. When you get there, the owners will tell you a lot about the area, including his recommendations for the food. It’s a lovely place. Always made sure we were comfortable! The property was beautiful! I am happy to say that the units and grounds are well maintained. I was very pleased by the experience and plan to return soon. It was so peaceful and quiet. My fiance and I booked a cabin at The Meadows from 8/23 - 8/25. We were in town for a late evening wedding in Queensbury, and we took the opportunity to have a much needed romantic getaway. Like many couples, we lead busy lives and wanted time away to reconnect. We pulled into the driveway and before we set foot on the first step to the office, the owner, Felix, was opening the door and greeting us with a big smile and a jovial manner.

Felix was forthcoming with an inconvenience regarding our cabin. He was experiencing problems with the shower hot water not working. Though this was an inconvenience to start, he posed an immediate solution to which both my fiance and I were satisfied. We were able to ready ourselves for the wedding without issue. The next day, Felix had fixed the hot water while we were out and about exploring and enjoying the Lake George scene.

The owners, Felix and Diana, are incredibly kind people. They have an easy going manner about them and they strive for excellent customer service. Meeting these two people felt refreshing from the usual stoic and impersonal attitudes most hotel/motel owners/managers possess. My fiance Matheau and I had lengthy conversations with the two of them and thoroughly enjoyed our experiences with this couple. They are warm and receptive towards their guests, and we felt like we were being reconnected with old friends.

We stayed in Cabin 4. The accommodations were in pristine condition. All of the linens, towels, etc, were clean and sanitary. The grounds were well kept and though the cabins are in close quarters to one another, when we were inside, we couldn't hear any noises from outside unless someone were to shout. My favorite feature about these cabins were the little bistro table and chair sets on the porches. Matheau and I were able to sit outside and enjoy the weather and conversation. They have a beautiful, well kept swimming pool, to which, sadly, we didn't get the opportunity to enjoy.

Given the cleanliness of the cabins, Felix's forthcoming honesty regarding any potential inconveniences to his guests, and the wonderful personalities of both Felix, and his lovely wife, Diana; my fiance and I have found a cozy little place we can escape to whenever possible. We both agree that we WILL certainly be coming back to enjoy the scenic grounds, the intimate little cabins, and the outstanding customer service of the owners. They have done well by us and I will recommend them to anyone who is going to Lake George...

I called on Saturday July 6, a holiday weekend mind you, looking for a last minute place to stay for 1 night. Normally there would be a 2 night minimum. Not to mention the last place I called was asking $500 for the night. I was about to give up, but when the owner Felix answered the phone he was so pleasant. He quickly offered me a room for that night for ONLY $200. Traveling with my 2 young kids up to LG to see my husband shoot of fireworks for a wedding, I was scrambling and was so relieved to hear this offer. Felix made it extremely easy to book the room and did not ask for any payment info over the phone. Upon arrival he met my daughters and I at the gate. Again he was so pleasant and chill as we checked in. Ran my card & sent a receipt immediately. $200 flat as promised. We felt safe being able to have the room door opened, enjoy fresh mountain air on the porch, and even have our 2 year old go play on the playground. There is also a pool out front which the kids LOVED. Felix and his wife take great care of this place, and have safety equipment to share for the pool. He sat on his porch with his family playing music while we swam, but was not intrusive. My husband and I enjoyed a gorgeous summer night under the stars at the picnic table, close enough to keep an ear out once the kids went to bed. The room itself is what you might expect being close to the lake. A bit musty, due to the humidity, but clean nonetheless. Kitchenette includes a mini fridge/freezer, small sink & cabinets. Decent tv though we didn’t use it much. The only issue we had was the shower hose forming a split after a few uses (I felt awful thinking I broke it!) but Felix was understanding when my husband brought it to his attention.
