Chain restaurant, but the management stinks. We've had bad food and the management is clueless. I ordered a steak and the choice was pink or no pink per the menu. I chose pink. When it came, it was crisp and so over done it wasn't edible. The manager came over and told me that my "pink" and their pink were obviously different. Really? He told me I could have asked for it rare. I said the menu only gave me two choices, and he said they don't go by that. So I asked for one rare, and it came exactly out the same, crisp, overdone and inedible. Why bother trying to fix stupid?
Update 1/21/18:
What a horrible restaurant. Never, ever again.
Why is this location so much worse than every other location?
Second last time I was there I ordered a steak. The choices on the menu were pink or no pink. I like my meat rare so I asked for as pink as possible. Almost an hour later our food came and my steak was crisp. Burnt beyond recognition. Twenty minutes later after my wife was almost done with her meal, the waiter finally came back and he said it looked fine. Really? It was black and hard a a rock. I asked for another and he reluctantly said he would have it redone. A good 20 minutes later he brought it back and it too was crisp, black and grizzly gray all the way through. I immediately said no and asked for a manager. This is where it got bad.
The manager looked at it and said it was perfectly done. I said how? There was no pink and it was burnt. The manager told me I obviously didn't know how steaks are cooked. I said there's no pink, none, nothing. The manager got angry and told me my pink must be different from their pink. OMG!
I then explained that I really wanted it rare but was accepting the "pink" but this wasn't even close. He then told me all I had to do was ask for rare. I said the menu only gave me the two choices. He said, oh we don't go by that, you only had to ask. I was fuming over his stupidity.
I ended up ordering just a salad because we had been there close to 2 hours and my wife had been done for almost an hour. The manger brought it and literally threw it on the table. Never should have gone back.
We had coupons so we did go back last night. On TV they are still as of today advertising the all you can eat riblets or chicken tenders. They didn't have them. We asked why not because they we're still advertising them on TV. He said the promotion was ending in about a week, so they we're stopping serving them. What the heck? If the promotion is still valid for a week, it's still valid for a week. Every single table around us was having the same discussion with their server. A lot of angry people.
We had to pick something else unhappily. Forty minutes later when out food finally came it was stone cold. Yes, refrigerator cold. When the waiter finally came back we asked for hot meals and he said he would "have them remade". Five minutes later they were back. Both my wife and I knew they hadn't been remade. Hers was still stone cold underneath (microwaving didn't work). Mine was hot, but I could tell it had just been thrown in under a heat source. It was crisp and greasy. We called the waiter back and now he was angry but said he would have hers remade. I was fed up and just ate it. It wasn't till I moved some of the food around that I found the piece I had taken a bite out of before, hidden under another piece. Like I wasn't going to notice. Geez.
My wife's came another 20 minutes later and we could see that it actually had been remade. The whole while we heard all the tables around us with similar complaints. The waiter just kept making jokes to the other patrons about their issues.

Read moreWe where in town on business and decided to Have The all You Can Eat Chicken Strips (her) and Rib Niblets (Me). , The Guy Hostess that Greets at great , The Waitress NOT so much , Dark Long Black Hair Wearing Glasses on Friday June 13, 2025 around 5pm . .
I am fond of Applebee's and have eaten at locations throughout the country , I know the taste of their BBQ SAUCE , For the ribs at this location because they are doing all you can eat they put season into three house BBQ Sauce that gives kinda a jerk taste too it , they do this to discourage you from asking for a second a second plate , When I DID ORDER THE SECOND PLATE THEY PUT 2 PIECES 3 1/2 INCH BY 3/4 INCH , The Bone which has thickness of 5 sheets of paper was so broken up and so fragmented every bit I had fragments of bone in it , (My Biggest question is what animal did this come from to have that thin of bone going almost whole 3 1/3 inch of riblet) . The waitress that keep came every 3 minutes to rush us since time we received our food , I explained the issue with ever bite bone fragments in it that I almost choked on one , In the fake Tone " I am So Sorry , So you will not be wanting plate ". I Stated " I would not ". This Rude waitress came back two minutes later and gave the check , IT WAS NOT OFFERED BUT I WOULD NOT HAVE EXCEPTED THE ITEM TAKEN OFF BILL BECAUSE I DID NOT WANT MY REVEIW TO DIMINISHED , I think the management is unhappy and worried about a RED LOBSTER ALL YOU Can eat situation causing losses , But for this location to tamper with the BBQ recipe to add a spice and awkward taste to People have not eaten Caribbean before just so they do not order 2nd plate The restaurant atmosphere was great a nice lady came up to me and ask me a question that I thought about all night with a smile.
The strips are dry and size close to the MCDONALD'S Strips and yes Gave 1st order and The Same Waitress Was unhappy were were not eating the fries but still brought 2nd Order Fries .
@applebees I sure hope you really look at their inventory Purchases VS Sales Receipts to see the scam they are doing to discourage asking to for seconds , Same price to eat Chinese Buffet better option and better service ,
I normally never do a review but this place worst Applebee's I have been ever to and worst waitress I have encountered in a long time .
I am fully aware the waitress is NOT responsible for the food , even if food was good her service was horrible but still gave tip , I do not see her working there long she is gonna...
Read moreI recently went to Applebee’s for dinner. It was a mistake. The restaurant was not crowded when we got there. We were seated right away in a section where there was only one other booth occupied. It was kind of dirty. After about 20 minutes, I asked the hostess if anyone was going to take our drink/food order. waitress came over and took our order. Another 20-25 minutes went by and our food came out. I ordered the Tuscan Grilled Chicken salad. The menu says it is served with a lite lemon & olive oil vinaigrette dressing on the side, so when she didn’t ask what my dressing preference was, I thought nothing of it. The salad came out with a side of ranch and about a quarter of the salad was also covered in ranch. She said “I gave you ranch but I can you something else.” Ranch is my least favorite dressing. I don’t like it at all.
She took it back to have it “remade” but when it came back, it was half the size and it had a side of balsamic dressing. It was obvious they just scooped out the part that had the ranch on it. The dressing was thick and not very good. Where was the lemon dressing? I tried it and the first piece of chicken I tasted, tasted like fish! I gave a piece to my husband and he thought it tasted like fish as well. It didn’t look like fish, but it tasted like it. I’m thinking they used a knife or bowl that fish had previously been in ?? The lettuce was brown and pink, wilted. It was not fresh at all.we had to ask for silverware, napkins and condiments. I know staffing is an issue but how hard is it to make a salad? It was not a good experience at all. Service, the food, everything. I...
