Rachel's Mediterranean Grill — Restaurant in Town of Lancaster

I had a horrible experience today. I ordered Greek fries with chicken added to them. I came in at 7:30pm (they close at 8pm). I expected for some of the items to possibly be unavailable due to it being the end of the night. I did not expect the service I received. The woman at the register was rude. She gave an attitude as if I shouldn't have placed an order at this time. She asked me if I was getting any thing else on the fries I said "Yes, vegetables". The woman then stepped away to place the fries in the deep fryer. I took a seat because I was sensing that she was annoyed and I just wanted my order so I could leave. The woman cooks the fries for a few minutes then gets up puts them in a box puts the toppings she chose on the fries (when I already explained to her that I wanted to add vegetables) closes the box and advised me to come get the fries. I instantly go up to yhe register and state "I wanted to choose my toppings, as I explained earlier, I wanted vegetables". She then said well I added what comes on them anything else is extra. I advised her that the vegetable options are not extra and if they are I am willing to pay additional (because she has already been paid for my order). The other employee there tells her it's fine she then says well what exactly do you want on it them. I name off the vegetables and explain this is inappropriate I am suppose to have an option of what I want on my food without being made to feel as if I'm doing something wrong. This is not my first bad experience with this location. Every other location provides excellent customer service. I will not return to this location.

If I give zero stars, I would! This is the second time we have ordered here. The first time we ordered online, I went to pick it up, and it was not ready. They said they had a problem processing the order. After waiting 15 minutes for the order, they screwed up the order, and I had to take it back in again. No apologies from the manager. Alright, maybe it was a just a bad night, and a young staff. We tried ordering again tonight, and yet again, they screwed up our order. First, they did not give us any pita bread with our order. Then, I ordered a steak souvlaki, and they gave me chicken. (But of course they charged me for the steak). I called and I was told that a manager would call me right back. Well after waiting 20 minutes, no one called me back. So I called again, and they were then closed. To say that I am disappointed in this location would be an understatement. I have gone frequently to the one on McKinley, and they are amazing! However, the customer service at this location is embarrassing. Pros: 1: Food is freshly made and very tasty. 2: Better at environmentally consciousness packaging. 3: Cleanliness of the restaurant. 4: Friendliness of staff.

Cons: 1: Food is a bit pricey considering what kind of to-go salads Wegmans has just down the street. But Wegmans does not make salads like Rachael’s does. 2: Would not order online. One has to go to the restaurant to pick up the food anyway, so by going into the restaurant one can make sure that the order is correct and to one’s liking before paying for it. I ordered online, but it still was not ready when I walked in. The people who walked in after me and order their food got it before I got my online order. And my order was not correct. Items I requested on my salad were not added nor was noticeable when I was given my order. The pita which was supposed to be given was not added...
