My family went for dinner on Easter. It was very busy. The servers were working very hard. Everyone was still very nice and tried to take care of so many people. Most of my family loved their food. My only complaint it the description of your entres. I ordered a lasagna. If your description told me it was all meat I wouldn't have ordered it. I had to send it back. The server did her best to get me something else. My husband ordered the ham. I must say it was disappointing. It was dry and had this funcky pineapple something in top. It looked horrible. Your description never mentioned the pineapple. My daughter is allergic to pineapple, if she would have order it she would have sent it back. All I suggest is more description of the food. My mother enjoyed her prime rib. The guys had chicken jack and thought it was very good. Over all, it was a good visit. I would recommend your restaurant. Next time I will have to ask more questions of how the food is prepared. Your servers get 5 stars. I just had to subtract a star for lack of...
Read moreI've had dinner here many times and it's always fantastic. Bob is a great guy and takes a lot of pride in the place. Service is top notch and the food is fresh and always tasty.
The menu is a balanced blend of Italian, American and a few pub grub type dishes. They have a "2 for $62" special that is a pretty good deal for a pair of diners - 2 main dishes from a limited but appealing set of their menu, an appetizer to share, 2 salads (or soup), 2 sides (spaghetti, baked potato, french fries or home fries - YES home fries!), and a dessert to share. For another $10 you can add a bottle of wine. They also have daily specials which usually include a heavily discounted (close to 50% off regular price and at the standard size) regular menu item.
It's hard to recommend one dish because I've never had a bad experience but I tend to lean heavily on the pasta dishes and steak for 2.
There is a nice bar area with reasonable drink prices as well.
Cammarata's is one of "go to" places any night...
Read moreMy wife took me for dinner for my birthday and I have to say it was the biggest disappointment for me. We were seated to eat and fairly quickly received our drinks . I ordered Eggplant Parmesan and asked for cappellini and the waitress said that they only had spaghetti. I said Ok and then asked for extra sauce with my dinner and it came with not extra sauce and no Italian bread. All of the eggplant was so hard that I could not even cut it with my fork. It could not eat any of it and my wife felt very bad. A few minutes later, the waitress came back and and asked of I wanted my dish to go without a concern that I had not eaten any of it. I looked with frustration and said no. I was flabbergasted that the waitress asked of I wanted a full dish to go. I was so upset that I decided not to complain and crossed this restaurant off of my future list. I am not sure how any competent cook would not know that the food that they were serving was so hard that you...
