Olive leaf family restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Lockport

Last year after our normal place we go closed down for the season we went looking for a place to eat that was closer to our home and we thought we found one. Service was usually good, good portions, and the food was good. Fast forward to the last month we had one order not right and had to wait a bit to get service but with the wrong order they made it right, ok mistakes happen. But today was the last time we will ever visit this place again. We stood approx. 15 minutes waiting to be seated, they seemed understaffed and a lot of businesses are these days so anyways they finally seated us with no drinks, totally ignored us from that point on but after about 30 minutes of waiting in our booth for some service a couple women walk in requesting the waitress we were supposed to have and they get seated, she goes and gets them drinks and pulls out her order pad and starts taking their order. Their wait time 0 minutes, our wait time now about 35 minutes in our booth. At this point my gf and I got up and left very disappointed as this was the first night we have had to go out in many weeks and honestly that was it and we will never be returning to this place again. I can understand being shortstaffed these days but waiting on them and taking their order while acting like we did not exist and had been waiting a total of now approx. 50 minutes if you include both our time standing and sitting in our booth waiting that was totally not good customer service, totally deplorable service infact and no excuse for that kind of treatment and needless to say we will not be coming back here to this place again after that experience and I am glad our regular place is set to reopen where even short staffed they never treat their customers like that. My gf pointed out as we were leaving to others waiting that we could have got better service at McDonalds!!!! Wish I could give them NO stars after this experience, one of the worst we have ever had at any restaurant. And as a side note the people ahead of us in the standing line were seated next to the booth we were put in and their wait time was 4 minutes to get drinks...

My brother in law who is a resident of Lockport took my wife and I here for a late lunch Monday afternoon August 12th. We were greeted when we walked in and promptly seated in a booth by the window. Steffanos was our server and he was very pleasant and accommodating. My brother in law ordered the liver and onions meal which most younger people would never order but he is always up for a good rendition of this old time favorite. My wife and I ordered the open chicken souvlaki salad. Our food came to the table quickly which I imagine was in part due to the mid afternoon lack of guests. The chicken souvlaki salads were excellent and very close to the famous Alton's of Cheektowaga rendition of the same which in my humble opinion is the bar by which all chicken souvlaki salads should be measured. My brother in law was disappointed in the flavor of the liver and onions, primarily because it wasn’t cooked in the traditional manner. It appeared to have been seasoned and grilled. Others tasting this dish may find it quite agreeable to the pallet. I on the other hand had way too much liver and onions in my childhood to even think of ordering this dish. To each his own. All in all the experience at the Olive Leaf was quite enjoyable and I recommend you pay them a visit when your looking for a casual atmosphere and good food you...

We ordered lunch for takeout today and was totally disappointed when we sat down in our office to eat! We ordered a triple club sandwich-roast beef- and fries as well as a chicken souvlaki pita with sweet potato fries ( for which I was charged a $1.00 more!). Went over the order with whoever took it and was very clear about what we wanted. I went in to get it and the person at the counter where I paid even went over it again. When we sat down to eat the order was TOTALLY WRONG!!! There was no triple club sandwich, instead some sort of chicken pita sandwich 🤮 It was way too spicy! The chicken souvlaki pita had way too much dressing on it and there were NO SWEET POTATO FRIES(that I was charged extra for!) Instead there was some weird regular fries with seasonings and feta cheese 🤮 VERY DISAPPOINTED!
