I was just there to pick-up my dinner. Worst food I ever ate, worst experience in any pizza shop I've ever been in. Let me preface this by saying I'm a 45 year old native of Baldwinsville. I grew up eating at Gino's in bville and later tried out the clay & N syr. locations, now I've also ate at GJP and was EXTREMELY disappointed.

1. called in an order at 4:30 PM -12 char grilled honey garlic wings, 6 knots, 1 order of fried mushrooms. The young lady who took my order told me the total was $27 and change and that it would be ready for pick-up in 20 minutes.
2. 20 minutes later,my husband and I show up to collect our food. The same young lady from the phone asks me to pay while it finishes up, except this time she tells me $37 and change.
3. I say, wait $37? You just told me 20 minutes ago $27. I also back that up with,on your google page, where I got your phone number, your menu is pictured. It states a dozen is $10.99. She says o, you must be looking at an old menu.

Then why is the menu on the internet???? Why isn't it updated???? I paid almost $40.00 for what amounted to 3 appetizers and TERRIBLE ones at that.

4. as soon as I paid, the same young lady immediately went over and asked the cook if she should put my knots in. (I'm sorry but it's generally understood that if you phone in a food order, they begin cooking it when you hang up, except in this case they waited more than 20 minutes to start cooking it)
5. the knots were dry and hard as a rock with ZERO garlic flavor. Not to mention, they are not EVEN A LITTLE CLOSE in taste, texture or shape to Gino's signature knots. They were UNEDIBLE. My husband threw them right in the trash. (Did i mention my husband worked for Vinnie and considers him family??) 7)the wings were decently charred & tender but were absolutely flavorless
6. the mushrooms were soggy and also flavorless
7. all in I waited the 20 minutes she originally told me plus another 40 for this largely UNEDIBLE meal and for a steal at just $37.00 for something you'll immediately throw in the trash.

Vinnie, if this store belongs to your family, I suggest you have a visit. It's Friday night (busy pizza night) and you have 4 highschoolers in there, the only adult is what I assume to be the delivery driver sitting at a table in the corner. But he didn't move once the whole time I was there so can't be that busy.

We have had two terrible experiences here and would not, under any circumstances, recommend it. On our first attempt, we were told it would be 45 minutes when we ordered on the phone. We showed up after almost an hour, giving them some extra time. We arrived and told the girl at the register our name. She wandered around for a few minutes (we thought she was looking for our food) but never said anything to us, and we assumed they were taking it out of the oven and boxing it up or something. After about 15 minutes had gone by with no pizza, we flagged her back down and asked about it again. She disappeared for another 5+ minutes and finally came back and told me they had just put it in the oven, and it would be another 20 minutes. We told them to cancel the order and left. A few weeks later we went back to try again because our regular pizza place was closed that day. Again, we gave them around 10 minutes of extra time, and again it wasn't done. We waited for 10 minutes, only to discover that half of the wings we had ordered had the wrong sauce on them. They offered to remake them for us if we wanted to wait. We waited, paid for the food, got home, and realized they had sauced the new wings with another wrong sauce. The staff seems unbelievably incompetent and the pizza was somehow worse than most grocery store freezer pizza I've had....

After previously giving a 5 star review, sadly I have to dial back a bit. Food is still extremely good but the last couple orders I’ve placed have either been ignored or something else. Last two orders I’ve asked for a white sauce with my delivered meal only to be given red. There’s three options and I’ve been given the same red sauce every time. Why is it offered if it will not be provided? Also with our order this evening I requested extra blue cheese and although I got it, the blue cheese was just shoved in the bag that contained our breaded mushrooms where one of the blue cheese containers busted open, leaked all over the inside of the bag, and ended up on the bottom of our meal container which wasn’t known until blue cheese showed up as a nasty smeared mess on our coffee table. This food isn’t cheap and if part of the order is bad, the entire order is bad. When these establishments are abundant in an ocean of pizza places I do try to establish a degree of loyalty to whom I do business with and feed my family upon. There’s no...
