Pizza Man — Restaurant in Town of Lysander

I went to Pizza Man back in October for the very first time. I had heard amazing things for a long time, and then at the Taste of Bville in September I tasted their garlic knots which were swimming in butter and real garlic! It wasn’t just flavored butter! They were soooo good! For my birthday I was craving pizza and wings, so I decided to give them a shot. I ordered online on their website and then drove from North Syracuse to Baldwinsville. When I got there, the gentleman behind the counter and told me they were just finishing my wings and the pizza would be out of the oven in 1-2 minutes. I then drove back home, 25/30 minutes with traffic, and was drooling from the smell. I ended up ordering a large pizza with pepperoni and sausage, an order of garlic knots and then a split order of wings - half garlic buffalo and half golden bbq (and these were what I was smelling my whole way home by the way)! 30 minutes and my pizza was still hot, the crust was nice and crunchy - it wasn’t soggy or greasy, and the wings were delicious. I honestly could have drank a gallon of the golden bbq sauce! Its no wonder they’ve won awards for that flavor! Pricing was good in my opinion as well. It's a Tuesday evening and it was recommended I try Pizza Man by one of my business client. Being in upper hotel and restaurant management, I am less critical when it comes to rating a bar vs. a restaurant.

We'll I arrived at 7:33 p.m., the take-out staff and cooks were very polite and helpful. They kindly told me if I wanted to eat in, the waitstaff would take care of me. There are only 12 people in the dine-in area. As I am writing this post at 8:10 p.m. Seven (7) more people have arrived, been attend to while I am waiting for a simple hello from the dining staff (a.k.a. a bartender) or even from one of the co-owners. Perhaps it is worth noting, I am the only person in here who is not white. What is wrong with this picture?

Fokes, giving them a one-star rating is too generous. This place does not know how to treat all customers with dignity and respect. Was ok. I am new to the area and am visiting a new pizza place every Friday and due to the reviews, figured I'd give this place a shot. We ordered pizza around 8 PM so not a very busy time, and we live close by. However when we went to pick up the food, I could tell just from the box it had been sitting for a while and we only showed up 20 minutes after ordering. The people at the counter seemed a little snooty but that stuff doesn't bother me so much. When I went back home to eat, the pizza was ok. The wings were ok.
