So thankful we found Russell's Deli! He and his wife are delightful! Fast and friendly service. We relocated here from Long Island and in 3 years haven't found a replacement for LI egg samis, the beloved EBC on a Kaiser roll. Well this is it! Real, I mean real, downstate Kaiser rolls! It was delicious. Amazing assortment of pastries and cookies as well! We were also able to get our favorite rainbow cookies from Long Island. They bring bagels up from downstate as well. Apparently you can call ahead and order in bulk too! Can't wait to return for lunch soon!

Russell's deli is the best philly cheese steak in the area. Breakfast sandwiches tat could fill up Andre the giant! All the food is tops. Baked goods to die for! And they sell birch beer root beer! Russell is also the nicest guy you can meet. Oh and they cater!

So thankful we found Russell's Deli! He and his wife are delightful! Fast and friendly service. I love this place! I only wish they were open longer so I could come more often. When you walk in there are a handful of tables if you'd like to eat in. The atmosphere of the little place is warm and inviting. First of all the service is always amazing. The gentleman (Owner I believe) and his wife are always talkative, kind, and prompt with service. The food is great. The subs are fresh, huge, and reasonably priced. The various salads offered are tasty too! However, where this place truly shines for me personally, is the cookies both Italian and fresh baked chocolate chip. The tri color Italian cookies are delicious and moist just writing about it makes me want to go and grab some. They offer delivery but just know that not everything on the menu is on their delivery offerings. Which is a shame because it would be amazing to be able to ORDER some tri color cookies and not have to leave my house. Or maybe it's a good thing that they don't offer that ...

What a rare find in Saratoga!! I come up here on vacation every year for Easter and to visit my sister.I might have passed this place 100 times One day I was out golfing and on the way back noticed this deli sitting by itself in a parking lot.I was really hungry and I said I hope the food is good here? That was an understatement!! I walked in and I was greeted by a friendly,smiling owner of this deli.I knew just from a few mins off talking to him that I was in a real New York Deli!! I had him make me some hot and cold heroes,as I figured maybe when I get home my family members might be hungry??Also I got some come slaw,potatoe salad and some pickles.We had some nice conversations,and he said I open at 4am come in for coffee!! I said will do!! I went home with the food and my family and I sat down and ate the food!! It was so delicious,that you knew it was good quality food.Long story short we ate like vultures and their wasn't a crumb left!! Lol Since then I stop by everyday for coffee and lunch.Great Food...

Lately there have been a lot of reviews for this spot from other yelpers about this spot.

When I first read it, I was like, where is this breakfast spot in Ballston Spa. I'm not beven exaggerating, but I have probably passed this spot like a 1000 times and didn't know this was a deli spot.

A big tip here, make sure you market it properly as only locals who have tried would be aware of it. And guess what, this local never knew and mistook it for a convenience store.

The deli has a lot of potential with a little upgrades. The deli has few spots for indoor seating and an amazing spot with picnic benches, in the woods with a view of a creek.

The deli has been voted Saratogas best multiple times. I just got to know it but, this deli is listed for sale.

We tried an eggplant panini and a chicken cheese steak. Both of which were good. We took the tiramisu to go. They do get a few bakerybitems from NYC everyday.
