Giavano's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Moreau

Been ordering from this Giavanos for well over 10 years now. It's a consistent thing even more so over the last year. I generally order online and never have any issues. My food is always good. The delivery is on time, sometimes early and normally I'd give then a 5 star but these last 2 visits left a bad taste in my mouth.

I ordered online and was given a delivery time. Given the benefit of the doubt, when the delivery time came and no food had been delivered, I assume they're probably busy so wasn't worried. Then 10 min went by. Then 20 min so I called to make sure everything was okay and the man on the line told me he'd be there any minute. I waited for another 10-15 mins, no food, so I called again. Each time, no reason given and the same answer "he should be there any minute". Finally after almost an hour, I call back again asking and he proceeds to tell me there is only one driver for the night. About 10 min later, my food showed up, cold. I was a little heated but because I'm loyal, I decide to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Tonight I called to place an order for pickup because my roommate wanted a gluten free pizza which is not available to order online. I was put on hold for 7 minutes. During that time, the phone was not muted and I was able to listen in to the entire staffs conversations. Some things said that may not be appropriate for a customer "on hold" to hear. So instead of waiting even longer on hold, listening to the staff laugh and joke, I hung up.

Proceeded to call back 14 times between my bestfriend and I. 14 times.... no answer. The line would be busy sometimes, so I'd call back. Line would then ring and no pick up. As a business owner myself, this boggles my mind. You left me on hold for 7 minutes and now 24 minutes later, still unable to place an order.

Sadly, another local establishment that was once great, now seems to be letting me down.

I dont normally post reviews without contacting management or the business to possibly rectify it but after 14 unanswered calls for an order and 0 remorse for a 2 hour and 15 minute delivery time, there's no point.

I have eaten here many times over the years never really had too bad experience unfortunately sometimes they don't always hire the smartest people so they screw up your owners constantly last night was a total flop my wife's sub was almost completely cold mine was warm but it was done wrong there was things missing off the sub there was things added that we didn't ask for apparently ketchup and mustard had gotten ridiculously expensive because there was so little on my cheeseburger sub that you couldn't even taste it and apparently meat has gotten way too expensive for them to put a proper amount on a cheeseburger sub one patty per half a sub where is when I used to order it used to be two patties for half a sub for the price you're paying for it especially since if you order a double cheeseburger platter at least comes with fries a cheeseburger sub should either be better priced if you're going to cut it back or give us the meat that we're paying for overall service was decent but the young kid on the phone apparently just didn't want to listen red has always been great it's too bad they can't find a regular cook...

I ordered a 25 cut cheese pizza and 20 buffalo wings crispy with extra sauce. It got delivered in a hr. Which is fine. BUTTT they gave me BBQ WINGS . I called back asked for my wings to be fixed. Someone from there called me back asking what was wrong. He said we would like the order back as is and they will send new ones. Well the ones they brought here we're notttttt cooked at all. He was very rude about the situation and also what do they do with the left over food. The driver said if we have covid they are putting it in the trunk. Okay so you guys are taking food back even if someone has been exposed. Very upsetting and I order from them all the time but last night I will never order from them again. Very upsetting to see the way they handled it. And also with them giving me raw chicken was uncalled...
