I was very disappointed because I’ve been wanting to try south’s pizza for a while after hearing how great it is… which IT IS GREAT don’t get me wrong but I called at 5:53 and put in an order for a medium meat lovers pizza and breadsticks with cheese, was told it would be an hour which I was fine with because I understand since I’ve worked in a restaurant before and it’s a Friday and busy. I waited until 7:11 to call and see if my pizza was on its way as I have kids waiting for the food and I was told 15 minutes, another 20 minutes went by and still no food yet so I called again to see if my food was actually on its way otherwise I was going to cancel because even with being busy a pizza and breadsticks take 20 minutes to make and cook and I live 5 minutes from the shop.. and I had already given them an hour and a half to get here and it just sucks because it was my first time ordering from them and the phone person seemed to have no answers when I asked about my food so it just leaves a bad taste about ordering again. Southy's Pizzeria has excellent food, reasonable prices & they offer free delivery! When you get your order you can see right away that their burgers, salads, pizza, appetizers, sides, desserts & many styles of hot & cold sandwich options are quite obviously made to order, with fresh, high quality ingredients. The portions are generous (to say the least) & the food always arrives hot or cold, depending on what you've ordered. They have delicious fries & onion rings but the real standout is their tater tots! I'm a bit of a "tot connoisseur" & Southy's really knows how to produce a golden brown, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, generous portion of perfectly seasoned nuggets of potato-y bliss! The extensive menu also includes Italian dinners like spaghetti & meatballs, baked ziti, chicken & eggplant parmesan, creamy alfredo's & more that you can also order "family style" & will generously feed four & includes a green salad & a loaf of hot crusty garlic bread.(they do ask for a 2 hour notice when ordering family style meals) The staff is always friendly & helpful & the delivery folks are just the same. We were long time customers. Have had issues with orders over the last 5 years (very seldom) and never made a big deal about it. Well, we ordered over the weekend and had issues with our order. As it wasn't cheap for what we purchased, I emailed the owner to explain the problems we had with our order (one of the two pizzas was not cut all the way and the wings were plain with no mild sauce - no sauce at all). The customer service and response we got from the one owner was uncalled for and beyond unprofessional (he thought he was sending it to his wife). Anyways, they offered a credit and I said whatever they wanted to do. As of today, we were charged full price and no credit. LOL. They lost our business for sure even though they said they wanted to earn our business back.
