Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Town of New Hartford

I don't typically do reviews, this is an exception. I'll be candid, I'm self-aware enough to admit I came into this location with an attitude after a bad day, I was Hangry and wanted my food. I made a mistake by parking incorrectly, and the manager Rob politely informed me for future reference of my mistake, I immediately got irritated and became a Karen (briefly) Chris, Malichai, and Robert especially, the whole crew really kept smiles on their faces and took my order promptly and accurately despite my behavior. When I realized I was the one at fault, I did end up apologizing and having a fantastic and personable conversation with the whole crew. Their customer service single handedly turned my bad day into a great one. Now I get to eat, and start again fresh tomorrow with a positive attitude strictly because the whole crew stayed positive and helpful during interaction and rubbed off on me accordingly.

My favorite sandwich is the Vito. I like the taste of their cappicolo and salami. The bread is pretty good, usually quite fresh, sometimes a tad tough. I really like the "Frenchie," the perfect on-the-go sandwich, because it's not messy. You can eat it while driving without wearing it or causing an accident. I thought the sandwiches could do with more meat, so one time I paid the upcharge for double meat. I found it was too much & seemed too salty, so actually the original recipes are pretty well balanced and tasty. Went in to order lunch for husband & self, was happy to see not busy & I was the only one there so was sure all would go well! Only to get home & see that I did not receive the item I ordered! I ordered #10 item for husband & when he sat down to enjoy, saw it was not correct, it was not #10 he ordered but #14! He doesn’t care for 2 different meats combined, so gave it to our single neighbor who enjoyed!
