Mom's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Niagara

I was a daily customer at this place for many years, then they moved to Military rd and we stopped in to check it out and say hello... first thing I noticed was you feel like you’re on display I’m not at all a fan of walking into a place and everyone turns there head to look at you. Its how it’s set up.. there’s no welcome feeling walking in, I almost felt like turning around and leaving. So we set down and agreed that we felt like we was on stage and didn’t think we’d ever go again. It’s a shame to because I missed the other two places they had. So the food.. omg.. we both just wanted a fast egg salad sandwich.. we wasn’t really hungry just wanted to see the new place, it seemed like a hour before our food came with both of us feeling like we just wanted to walk out. When the food came there was like 2 teaspoons of egg salad in the sandwich.. when I make it at home 1 egg makes 2 full thick sandwiches. I felt like ordering a boiled egg and side of mayo and making it myself. When I opened the sandwich you could see some egg and you could also see the bread because the was so many spots with no egg.. lord knows why I didn’t take a pic so you could believe it. Also know one cared. The waitress just shrugged it off and at the checkout when asked how was everything I spoke up and said the egg salad sandwich was skimpy, again it seemed shrugged of. There was a lot of pounding on the roof which was so bad they should have not even been open that day. At any rate I’ll not ever be back... this happened a year ago. I since heard they have new owners but it might be just rumors but in there defense it seemed it...

God bless you guys still open your one of my favorite places in niagara falls i always came as a child that me my parents which my mom now is passed away we use to eat here all the time at the old location all i say is the owners are amazing people loving carring people and love there community and the food is top quality and they also love children i still remember my mom when she would pay the check for breakfast or dinner being we ate here all meals everyday she would buy her lotto we ate there every morning and the owner gave us lolly pops and the old waitresses Joni and Lori such memories. Lori use to know us so well she would bring our chocolate milk out right beford the meal because she knew we had a habit of filling up on the milk before breakfast or dinner came out. it's been a lot of years but you obviously never forget a good restaurant and good people. Moms is an amazing place and I look forward to getting back in eating there again trying it. out as a grown man now 38 a lot of family memories in this place i mean alot when i found it i teared up a bit so many good family memories with my mom and dad which my mom I don't have anymore and my father that has dementia people just don't know how to appreciate a good place liks this anymore you guys years been hustling in your good to your customers. Thats why your still here. Thats a blessing. And honestly i believe you guys are the biggest land mark for dinning in niagara falls. God...

We have been going there for years and today was definitely the last. We took our handicapped 75 year old sister out for breakfast and had the worst experience. All 3 of us ordered from their preset section (no specialty items) and we placed our meal orders when we ordered our drinks. We should have known we were going to have a problem when only one coffee arrived and when we asked for the other one the young waitress made a snarky comment with a definite tone about any other missing drinks. Four groups came in after us and received their meals. We asked the hostess (who was helping with service) to check and see if our order was in and she never came back to tell us it was or to let us know if it was going to be coming out soon. Moments after that our waitress walks by us stating very loudly “Well, I guess everyone’s all set” She never stopped to check or find out what was happening with our order. We finally got up to leave and the waitress saw us and very loudly from behind the counter said “Your meals are coming out in five minutes can’t you wait.” We let her know that several tables came in…they were served… eating and almost done and we had nothing. She said well I’m really busy Never had this happen in the years we been going there. No one apologized, no one checked on us…nothing. We can understand when places are busy. But this was very apparent they didn’t care at all. So sad…this used to be...
