I've visited the area for years (I have family in Amenia) and we ate here often. Good food (though greasy and overpriced), fun little signs.
They don't take COVID-19 seriously though, so be warned; the risk is higher here because mask use isn't enforced and the owner doesn't care. Complaints will be received rudely and you will be made fun of or even harassed. If that doesn’t bother you or you don’t think COVID-19 is serious, you’ll like it here.
Our relatives sent the online version of the 12/10/2020 issue of the Millerton News and the owner not only doesn't believe COVID-19 is serious, but brags about how her rude sign on the door and lack of enforcement around mask usage has kept business booming. Make your own choice, but if you’re trying to get a meal out AND be cautious of COVID, this is an inherently...
Read moreMet a girlfriend for a quick Christmas breakfast…That lasted 2.5 hrs. This deli was suggested by my husband for a great breakfast and nice relaxing atmosphere. We were greeted with smiles from staff and other customers. Placed our orders, grabbed fresh brewed coffee and awaited yummy French Toast, perfect cooked bacon, veggie & ham omelet, & potatoes cooked just right. Food was delicious and prepared timely as the deli was busy. If you are looking for a nice place to grab breakfast or lunch stop by. Dine local - support and enjoy. It’s worth a visit and fun meeting ‘old timers’ with fun stories....
Read moreI will not eat or even do take out from any establishment that is pro-Covid and Anti-Mask. We spent two weeks in the area and the food sounded good but we're not Covid deniers having lost too many friends and relatives to it. How can we know they don't spit in our food if they see us wearing a mask which we need to do as people with multiple high-risk factors and still functional...
