Dunkin' — Restaurant in Town of North Hempstead

My sister and I stood there waiting for our drinks for about 10 minutes (we mobile ordered on our own phones), in which she then realizes & points out to me that my beverage is in a cup holder for someone else’s COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ORDER. So I tell the employee and she hands it to me. If my sister hadn’t noticed, then someone else would’ve taken my order.

Then, my sister tells them she ordered munchkins with her drink. They did not provide her with a paper receipt which they do forget to sometimes with the mobile orders. So we stand back and look at her phone to pull out the mobile receipt. The employee laughs and says, “if you’re just going to stand there all day and not ask us for help then you’re not going to get anything….” Weird. So then we show her the receipt on her phone, showing that we purchased munchkins with our order. Then, what I assume to be the manager comes over and says we cannot receive the items if we don’t have the paper receipt (WHICH THEY DID NOT EVEN PROVIDE FOR US). And even though I showed proof of purchase on her phone, they still refused until we kept explaining to them we never got a receipt and we have the proof on her phone.

I’ve just never had service like this at this location, it’s surprising to me that they’d argue with us over 3 DAMN MUNCHKINS. All the other times Ive been here the service has been amazing. I’m just shocked now that they think I’d lie about 3...

Popular java hole (coffee shop equivalent of watering hole). Brisk grab-n-go, quick bite. Fresh donuts, and good selection, everytime. Very nice & efficient counter service. The store is always well organized; rarely do we see a littered table that has not been cleared. Even better after remodeling (when 'Donuts' was also dropped from fascia sign). Takeouts are on a fast clip and these do not affect the speed at which in-store orders are processed! Clear point of purchase displays and an adorable 'think local' retail display (pic). Standing tall in this neighborhood, they open at 5:00 am, all seasons, all weather conditions. And, close at 10:00 pm. PS. 4 stars for food only because it's a forbidden pleasure....

This location is a huge hit or miss! They've messed up so many of my mobile order drink orders before and they're super, super slow even when they aren't busy. They have never given me an issue to remake anything they mess up which is good. They just aren't ever staffed properly and lack a good manager. The donuts have never been an issue for me, they consistently taste good. Most of the staff are very nice and friendly as well. The location is usually clean, bathroom is working, and I always see the workers cleaning...
