The food is ok for a fast food mex place, if I can call it that. However, the service at the Greenvale, NY branch is TERRIBLE. I had two earlier incidents of servers being rude but today experience was my third time. I ordered a burrito and asked the server if I could have the premade red and green sauce that was behind the counter. She said no and that I should go to the self serve counter that is located near the entrance. I said I rather not get my sause their since of the uprise of Covid and frankly, I saw the sauce while going on the line and it was spilled on the sides, looked old and was not in a clean area. She said the premade sauce was for online orders only. I kindly asked her a second time if she could please give me the premade sauce- that was literally inches from my burrito. She gave me a dirty look and said no. I didn't say anything else but was ready to walk out. Then she grab some premade sauce for an online order that was after my order. I looked at her and she put a sauce next to mine. I did leave a tip and thanked her for that. HOWEVER, I am writing this review because I think in the world we live in with so many people sick- there should be a level of safety, respect and acceptance of people's comfort level- EXPECCIALLY if you're in the food industry. Read moreHORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I WILL NEVER BE BACK TO A MOES LOCATION. I placed two orders separately at 9:30AM to be picked up at this location at 12:00pm. When I arrived only one order was made. I was told the other order didn’t exist for about 30 minutes before the manager or whoever walked away from me in the middle of the conversation (in what I thought was an attempt to get my food). Nope. I had to get up 10 minutes later again and ask what was going on and was told I would have to pay for my food again and that I made a mistake and only placed one order. After repeatedly showing them my order confirmations, then they said the order failed. After 45 minutes of waiting and my friend done with her meal, they finally made my food, but only if I paid. I paid for my food and was continuously given an attitude. I understood what they were saying and they were talking about me in Spanish. I have attached screenshots of the two orders that I placed at 9:30AM within minutes of each other, and my charge 45 minutes after I arrived at the restaurant to pick up my food. Now the place has workers who act like they hate to serve customers. The people behind the. counter deliberately make customers repeat their orders 2 or 3 times b/c they pretend that they don't speak a word of English. The person who made my homewrecker burrito practically slammed all the ingredients of my burrito together until t was a lumpy mess. They have a promotion where kids eat free on Sundays. When my daughter ordered a chicken quesadilla the guy got all passed off and started giving us attitude. The food was less than mediocre. How could this once proud fast food chain fall so far??? Does the owner know that his workers are causing him to lose business? Haven't they ever heard of competitors like Chipotle or Taco Bell???
