My friends and I just came from Mt. Fuji. We called in a reservation for 7:30pm tonight around noon today. We got to the restaurant and there was a long line of people who also had reservations, but werenât getting seated. Many people walked out because of how long the wait was when they had reservations. Iâm sure the restaurant lost a lot of money today. Also if the reservations couldnât be honored then reservations should have stopped being taken. We sat for almost 2 hours and waited just to be seated. Once we were finally seated we sat in freezing cold air for 45 minutes before being fed. We didnât even receive our soup. A waiter walked up to me asked if he could refill my cup, but then just walked away and didnât come back. The food was cold after cooking was done. The chef didnât even give us the full hibachi experience. He didnât do any games. We sat and waited to be seated longer than we ate our food. Once we went to pay, the female waitress was not apologetic, nor did she seem to care that we did not receive satisfactory service. When we complained she said, âIâm just a server, not the bossâ. She didnât take any responsibility. When we questioned about a discount for our horrible service and for separate checks, she got an attitude. We got only 2$ off our checks, which is ridiculous for the amount of time we had to wait just to get cold food, and no soup. Then we asked to speak to the manager to which she replied that they werenât there and she didnât know when they would be in. They were extremely short staffed, and busy, which I completely understand. But the lack of care they had to the fact that the service we received was not good, is infuriating. We saw several waiters standing around or walking around doing absolutely NOTHING. I really am disappointed with the service we received and the fact that we werenât compensated for the bad service. Also gratuity was included on our bill, when it states that itâs included for parties of 6 or more, we only had 5 people. People shouldnât be charged gratuity for bad service. I surely...
Read moreDelightful and Delicious experience every time my family brings me! Only slightly negative comment I will make, and this may be my own inexperience, but, I do wish that all the food was cooked and served at the same time. Last night we got our rice, lo mein, filet mignon, shrimp, 2 each, not entree, vegetables, then the chicken. Be the time the chicken was served, 2 of the guests were full from their rice served 20+ minutes before, were sleepy, and their dinners were packed in doggy bag. I would rather prefer all my entree at once. Like I said, maybe this is the Oriental style that I do no know of, but it is the way of this restaurant every time I come here. The experience of watching the Chef handle the cooking and cutting, watching the different spices, oils, etc mix on the grill is exciting, and enjoying the many aromas coming off of the grill is just heavenly, and I wouldn't want to miss that, but why not turn on more than one burner under the grill? I am sure the Chef could handle more cooking at once... Just...

I had to tell them I was leaving... that's the only way they started the ordering... there is no fun at the table... no standard egg flipping show... no sake... just a impersonal cook that was nervous and extremely slow... over half everyone's food was cold by the time the vegetables were ready... he saved them for last... unfriendly servers and the worst Hibachi experience I've been too... this was our 2nd and last experience here... we tried about 8 months ago when we were in town and I was hoping this changed... at $30 a plate... don't waste your money here.
