We came to this restaurant with high hopes after a recommendation, but unfortunately, it was a major letdown from start to finish. The atmosphere was far more casual than we expected, but we decided to give it a shot anyway. From the beginning, the service was noticeably slow, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and inattentive — clearly understaffed. The menu was surprisingly limited, so we asked if we could order a few items from their deli counter instead. Prices at the counter seemed fair — $8 for olives and $12 for sopressata — so we went ahead. The food came out with significant delays, with one dish arriving over 30 minutes after the rest. Still, we tried to remain optimistic. The real issue came with the bill. They charged us $16 for the olives and $24 for the sopressata — literally double the price — simply because they served them in bowls instead of a takeout container. When we politely questioned the charges, the manager immediately became defensive and hostile, telling us to lower our voices and refusing to discuss the matter further. It was an incredibly unprofessional and uncomfortable interaction. Bottom line: the service was poor, the menu lacking, and the management absolutely unacceptable. We will not be returning, and I would not recommend this...

I visited this small, cozy restaurant with my 3-year-old and 4-month-old, and the experience was frustrating. The space was tight, and while I was managing my stroller and kids, I ordered Cacio e Pepe and half chicken. Unfortunately, the chicken came undercooked and had blood in it. I showed the waitress, who took it back to be cooked more, which was fine, but it caused a significant delay in my meal.
I had to take my kids to the bathroom twice, which added to my frustration. Navigating the path to the bathroom with a large stroller was difficult, and there was no changing table, so I had to improvise. When I returned, the food was finally ready, but the waitress asked me to move my extra stroller seat, which was impractical given the space and the gear I was already juggling. She even suggested I fold the stroller, which wasn’t realistic with a baby and all our belongings. Her attitude felt rude and unsympathetic, especially considering the challenges I was facing.
Ultimately, I left without enjoying my meal. Given the undercooked chicken, the lack of family-friendly amenities, and the staff’s lack of understanding, I won’t...
Read moreI've been here several times and the fresh pasta and sauces are really great... probably the best in Rockland. The gluten free rice fettuccine are excellent. Sometimes they run out of them so call ahead if you need gluten free. The minus is that Everytime I go I have to send something back for it being oversalted and I'm not a low salt person nor do I have high blood pressure and I still have my own teeth. They exchange it without a problem but act as if my palate is sensitive and I'm weird. I grew up in the restaurant business so I'm not afraid of salt or butter..Several other people I've spoken to have mentioned the salty thing but don't send it back because they are embarrassed. Beware the wine pour is 5oz so it looks a bit sad in the large wine glasses. Maybe they should have gone with old school little wine tumblers🙂 The bottle is a better deal although the selection is limited(1 white 1 red 1 rose which is perfect for this kind of place) . Check out the menu and prices online before you go. First come first serve seating, order at counter..very casual. All together I definitely...
