Lousy late night service. Came in at around 2am looking for a late night snack on a Wednesday night/Thursday morning and sat down. Waited for five minutes for the waitress to even acknowledge me, who was sitting 3 chairs down from her and asked for a menu to get a nasty look. The menu was pretty overpriced, what would you expect from Nyack? So I took a minute and ordered their Irish Nachos(they had no substitute for bacon, their beans contained pork too.) and finally when I got my food which I ordered TO STAY, I was given the food in a bag fully prepped for takeout with napkins, plastic cutlery and take out containers. The waitress "forgot" because she was too busy playing cards on an iPad and waiting for a ride, from what she said to me. The bartender made some jokes to lighten the mood but I wasn't amused, after being given my fries which cost $13 in a tin container. Wouldn't have wasted my time/money/has coming here if I had known it was gonna be this terrible. For each question I had about the food the more annoyed the waitress seemed. Not...

My friend and I asked to sit outside and the waitress we initially spoke with told us to head outside and grab a table. However after walking outside to grab a seat, another waitress literally ran outside to tell my friend and I we couldn't sit because of the rain.... it was not raining outside. They didn't offer to sit us inside or offer to sit us under the awning that would have been protected from the rain. The staff was very rude and dismissive. My friend and I sat across the street at Casa del sol instead. We did actually witness them sit a table of all white patrons outside after dismissing me and my friend. I sit here and wonder if it was because the color of my skin they treated me so callously and refused me and my friends business. I will never dare enter this...

More than your average barfare and top quality food. Though my guilty pleasure there is garlic bread with cheese (I add olives and get lots of marinara for dipping) and also the Veggie Quesadillas! They're surprisingly really really good! A Must-Try! My husband likes to order the fish and chips= baked not fried. He's watching his figure. Lol. The staff is great and make you feel really at home. One of my best memories was the big snow storm Jan 2016. Not many places to go, but the place was packed and the picklebacks and beers were going quick, keeping us warm. Can't go wrong with OVI. One of the few places in Rockland County serving good food till 3AM every night...
