T.F. Noonan's — Restaurant in Town of Orangetown

Absolutely gross. Ive been a bartender most of my life before my career. I’ve loved Noonans for years. We used to go hang out after work all the time (from Jersey). We have went to pearl river every Sunday after st pattys day for years until covid happened. Thought we would check it out since last year didn’t happen. Did our usual routine, has a great time. Stopped at noonans to get our lunch and could not have been a worse experience if we tried. 4 of us, all adults, walk in. I go to the hostess and ask for an outdoor table. They tell me it’s going to be a while. So my friends go to the bar to get a drink while I wait around the hostess stand for when we are called. The dude working at the host stand, clearly not the lovely hostess. Not sure if he’s the owner or just a very drugged up manager. When the girl comes up to us to say that a table is ready- minutes after we asked.. even though we were told it was going to be a long time- which normally is great but not in this case. That insane dude goes IS THE WHOLE PARTY READY. I said yeah they are coming right now (as I wave them over) crazy dude goes NO THEY NEED TO BE READY WITH YOU NOW. I’m like dude you just told us it was going to be a while, they walked to the bar, they are closing out now.....he’s like IVE HEARD ENOUGH FROM YOU. I’m like!?!? What the heck? They are just closing their tab. My boyfriend walks over and he has the nerve to say to him SHE HASNT STOPPED TALKING SINCE SHE GOT HERE YOU GUYS ARE DONE- OUT- NOT GETTING A TABLE. I’m standing there like this😮 then the bouncer comes out to PUSH us out. Keep in mind we’ve had.. maybe three Guinness alll day.. been doing this same thing for YEARS. Nope, sorry I was not having this. I will not be treated like this for absolutely no reason. Slammed my fiends beer on the bar and walked the f out. That is not the way you treat people. The service we have received tonight at T.F. Noonan’s Restaurant (Est. 2001), has been inherently incompetent and inept. Not only was the service astoundingly atrocious, but the food was something of an atrocity to the clusters of bulbous nerve endings on our tongues in which a distinguishing distaste for the establishment has now become an existential commonality for the entity of T.F. Noonan’s. Some of my colleagues as well as myself received 'club sandwiches' that had bread in which its texture resembled that of marble stone. The service was particularly incompetent as the establishment was barely at half capacity and it took over 20 minutes just for our server to come to our table for the first time and take our drink orders. The drinks themselves then took another 15 minutes to arrive. Throughout the meal, we were only checked on two to three times in a 2 hour period. This experience is something that neither I nor other patrons will stand for in the further continuation of operations at this organization. Until further notice, my patronage of this establishment has been suspended and I will encourage others to follow in my footsteps. Together, we as a united and common people can create a movement for the change that needs to be undertaken in the foundation of this establishment. Came in on a very quiet Monday, 7pm or so. Our table ordered one appetizer and three entrees. We are all managers of restaurants or bars, so we decided to try this place out. Over 40 minutes until WE asked our server where our app was, immediately got told the kitchen is busy with some attitude. The server comes back 20 mins later, trying to say the kitchen messed up and all the food would come out TOGETHER. Lo and behold our entrees came out, we say we don’t want the appetizer because it’s supposed to be before the entrees, we receive unusual and immediate attitude from our server and no manager interaction. Ten minutes after our entrees our appetizer hits the table. We tell her we didn’t want this anymore, that it was ridiculous to serve it after that much time while we were half done with the entrees. All this time, nothing from “management”. We told her feed the food to the kitchen or take it herself we didn’t want it anymore. We were appalled that finally a bartender and then a large bellied Caucasian man in shorts came and very not politely told us to pay and leave.
