After multiple rude comments and getting terrible food which they took off my bill. I was told that"it would be nice if we could pack up her things and leave now we have a family friend waiting to sit down"even though there are plenty of open seats outside for them to sit next to us or away from us. we waited a half hour for our seats and was only sitting down for 20 minutes until we finished our food. Me and my friend both got up to order more drinks and that's when the owner told us to leave for absolutely no reason. This is just one of multiple rude comments the owner said to us that night. This was yesterday June 19th 2020.my parents friends own the bar and went to high school with them, I have always been treated phenomenal and even hooked up on drinks and food, but not this time- they were very rude for no reason and then proceeded to ask me about my sick mother in front of everybody stating they had no idea what's going on with her but we all know they do because they asked me and told me she was sick.Aka they played stupid to get information out of me leaving me embarrassed and ashamed. They then proceeded to ask me if that was still working or employed-I told them no because of the pandemic but it's very nerve-wracking and embarrassing for me to tell them that I'm not working right now when I came there to relax and have a stress-free day with a cold beer. We all go to bars to forget about her problems-mine were brought up as soon as I walked in the door by the owners- they only asked so they could get information and spread drama rumors around the town of orchard Park about myfmy like they have before.... the byrd house is nothing but a drama-filled melting pot with rumors flying about, if you don't want your personal information out there please stay away from this restaurant and bar as the people are very judgemental and clicky...... I will never be going there ever again nor my family and I'm ashamed that I had to tell everybody around me how my mother is sick and can't even leave the house -while they smirked and wisperered about...... the old Byrd house was great at the old location, the place is so bougie now you can't go there without hearing rumors about somebody else or yourself. If you are personal person and take that seriously please stay away from...
Read moreA late afternoon my neighbor a I went to the Byrd House. My neighbor likes their shrimp served as an appetizer along with soup. I ask the waitress what she suggested for myself. She suggested the highlighted items and the smaller beef on wick with chicken wings. I ask how their wings were prepared. I do not like dripping in sauce wings. Those are not Buffalo wings. She told me she would put the order in for crispy wings. When the beef and wing plate was presented I could definitely tell the wings were not crispy. The skin looked shinny and not cooked. I asked, before I touched the meal if the wings could be made crispier. She replied “no”. Just no she said. So unappealing! I pealed the nasty skin off the wings so I could handle eating them. The smaller roast beef roll was wet and mushy on top. Definitely the worse meal. Could not bite into the beef without a struggle. The waitress did come over and saw how I peeled the skin off and I mentioned about the roll which I just ate the bottom half of. Another girl came over because she had heard we were not happy with our meal. She told me the rolls are like that because they put butter on top. The wings she said are just done like that. My neighbor told her about her shrimp not being how it always is when she orders it on each visit. A very off taste. So happy I didn’t bring out of...
Read moreLast night 9-25-21, my band Split Rails played at The Byrd House. it was a very good experience. The patrons were friendly and greeted us warmly. The staff were polite, congenial and most helpful to us. It was cool that The Byrd House has an entrance for the bands to carry their gear in without interferring with the patrons that were eating and drinking. The atmosphere was electric. The dining area was packed as our band set up for the night's festivities. The Bryd House is a very clean establishment, and it is definitely Buffalo Bills territory. Once the dining was completed the staff opened up indoor windows that had separated the bar from the dining room up, which then opened the bar areas so that patrons at the bar could see, hear and enjoy the band from the bar. I Personally will be back there to experience their food and dining room facilities. As for the band we got to play on a large stage there with room for our six piece group. we received lots of positive praise from those in attendance, and for those who danced throughout the night. The owner is friendly, helpful, informative as well as accessible. It is our hope as a band to have the privilege to play there again soon. I would highly recommend The Byrd House for a...
