Stellina Bakery to the rescue! I was tasked with creating the cake for my brother's father-in-law's 99th birthday celebration. I'm an award-winning sugar artist; so, I had a very specific vision of how I wanted the completed cake to look. I spent hours designing and creating sugar decorations for the cake. Shortly before the event, I broke my wrist, rendering me unable to bake the cake. That was bad! Fortunately, I contacted Stellina and spoke with Dylan, who immediately understood my need for a cake with very specific dimensions. I was beyond thrilled when I picked up the cake and found that Stellina's staff had perfectly fulfilled my request. The cake, with my decorations added on, was exactly how I had envisioned it. It was stunning, and what made it even better, was that it was absolutely delicious! The quality of the cake, buttercream, and ganache was superior to anything I've tasted this side of the Atlantic. A superb product, on par with the famous Cafe Konig of Baden-Baden Germany.

I made a purchase of three bakery items for $91, two of them were decent to very good, I loved the pistachio cream cheese mousse, however the Oreo cake and the chocolate chip cookies were of really bad quality, as I cut through the cake it falls apart and looks very dry, as in the picture attached. I don’t except them to do everything right but I have to be satisfied with my purchase of $91. I took the rest of uncut cake back to the store hoping for a refund for this item but they refused claiming that half of was cake eaten which is a ridiculous reason, it was cut and tasted by kids and thrown away but anyway, this is obviously not the way you should treat your customers if you want to sustain a business. We left half the cake for the baker who refused to refund our money, so he may see it and try it himself. After seeing all the photos and great reviews, I had to try it out but I must've gone too late?! (~4:30pm). There was very limited selection in pastries (mostly empty shelves behind the glass) and limited staff - at this hour only saw two staff members behind the counter. Both too preoccupied with cleaning and prepping desserts rather than trying to helping with my order. 😕

I'm a dessert fiend - rude staff can't hold me back!! So I ordered a 1lb worth of cookies/pastries of whatever they had that looked appealing. Including mini canolis, mini linzer tart cookies, mini fudge sandwich cookies, chocolate dipped macaroons, some sort of mini caramel layered cake. All but the macaroons and mini linzer tart cookies were a waste of money. We concluded 2 out of 5 wasn't worth a trip back.

BUT, the donut shop inside bakery (paid seperate) was so good and we'll be back for more. Donuts tasted fresh and decorated so pretty. Would make for a nice birthday...
