Very disappointed. Went to watch football with my family as it was the first time all of us got together in a few years. The speaker system was shorting out with high pitch noise. When we got the bill we were overcharged on everything we ordered. We were charged for ranch $2 for each cup , charged to get them crispy $1 for each order of 8 wings. One of the orders was so crispy they were burnt. I have never been charged for these things anywhere I go for wings. My brother questioned the waitress on it and she said she didn't know that they were charging extra. Then when my brother-in-law talked to a manager they tried to say the waitress made a mistake that they never charge for it. Well someone had to be in charge of the prices. As we were walking out the bartender wanted to credit us because my family have been there many times before. We made a point that someone had to have told her what to charge and that we should have not been charged in the beginning. Did they think that because we had a few beers we wouldn't notice the overcharge. We don't think they even credited us the correct amount. We will find out when we get the credit card bill. We have friends that go there as well and will let them know as well...
Read moreI personally will never return to Dark horse. My husband, and I went on a Tuesday evening after a long day of work. We told to sit wherever we wanted because most of the restaurant was empty. We ordered the Brie stuffed pretzel and fig jam. The Brie was the size of a dime and the jam was runny and watery. We then waited 45 min for a chicken wrap and sliders. The sliders were not just cold they were ice cold I spoke to the waitress who told me there was no manager here but she would send over the bar tender. He came over with an attitude , listened , asked to reheat my food to which I said no thank you. He just turned around and walked away. When the bill came the two items were removed from the bill. Thank you. That was not my goal of wanting to talk to you. I wanted you to see how food was coming out of the kitchen, understand the time we spent waiting and how...

My sister decided to come here after she had her daughter dedicated at a mega church to celebrate. The menu looked so good but the food was a disappointment. I wasn't sure what to order. First I got fries for my son that he wouldn't touch so other people ate them. Than I asked for pretzel bites for my son which he didn't touch either so I ate some and my sister's husband's friend across the table ate some too. I got the stuffed brie pretzel bites. Not enough brie cheese and the fig jam dip was too watery for my liking. I had the empanadas as well and they were a little bit on the dry side. So I wasn't so impressed with Dark Horse Tavern and I don't know if I'd be willing to come back so quickly. The server was amazing though, handled a big party of people pretty well and...
