I ordered a door dash order here for pickup. The place was cute and had extremely friendly and sweet staff. The packaging was also very well planned out. Just wish the whole container was plastic bc I had a constant fear it was gonna get to soggy if it sat there too long bc it was a 15 min drive back home plus it was rush hour. Anyways, I was just so ashamed in the ramen. My husband got the miso and I got the chicken shoyu. The broth in each of ours was so very salty, it made the noodles taste like salted hard boiled eggs. The weird part is that we both don’t mind salty things, but it was too salty that we needed lots of drinks on standby. In mine, the chicken was so very plain it also did not help… it also tasted like it didn’t belong for sure. Usually I get karaage chicken shoyu from another place so I was wondering what this one tasted like, but we see where we are now. Both of ours had so many scallions that every bite you took, had scallions. The bamboo sheets was good and my hubby didn’t complain about the fish cakes or boiled egg. The noodles didn’t seem to me like they belonged in either one of these soups. I felt that it should of been a different type. We’ve never been here before but I wouldn’t go back for the ramen, maybe something else but DEFINITELY...

Edit: 04/06/2021: Owner finally reached out and offer to refund the botched item from the below comment. I have increased my rating. However, the direction following is still lacking. I ordered the follow week again since the office all observed no meat Friday. No utensils were included in the delivery when the option was checked off and in the comments we asked for spoons as well.

Original: Horrible at reading direction. I gave them a chance, and they can't read simple instructions. No spoons included with utensil even when asked for. Then ask the INCLUDED sauce on the side and none of the sauces was delivered. Then the manager try to tell me they charge 50 cents for sauces on the side even if they are supposed to be included. And then instead of calling me to tell me that, they just delivered without the sauces at all. What kind of petty way of doing thing is that? Food is decent, but will not...

Very sub-par ramen spot. The main reason for the low rating is the poor service.

Upon walking in, there was no greeting from staff. They stand behind the register and stare at you impatiently. It was silent and awkward with no music despite there being built in speakers in the ceiling; this could have been utilized to create a nicer environment. When the food was ready, they yelled across the room for me to pick it up.

The chicken in the ramen tasted frozen, the boiled egg was cold, the broth was flavorless, and the shrimp tempura was dripping grease. The noodles were decent, but could have been better. The food felt cheap.

Upon leaving, there was no “thank you” or “come again.” The staff were on their phones with headphones in, and only interacted with guests when ordering or picking up food. I felt very unwelcome here and will not...

Create your own poke bowls! Love how you can customize everything going in your bowl! Very friendly staff and quick in prepping the food too! I recommend getting the poke bowl and their tonkutsu ramen. They have zucchini noodles which are cut zucchini shaped like noodles, pretty refreshing and the ingredients are fresh. Prices and items I tried with my group, portions are good for sharing: CYO (create your own poke) LARGE $16.50 / CYO REGULAR $14.00 Tonkutsu Ramen $14.50 - yummy Shrimp Tempura 4pcs $8.00 - decent Pork Gyoza $6.00 - kinda average and skippable Bubble Tea $4.95 - I tried the classic and Taro flavors and both were skippable and not that great Brown Sugar Bubble Tea $6.95 was better Overall I had a great experience here and would recommend it if you're in the area looking for some asian food.

This seems to be a popular spot for takeout, but the interior is clean and modern. I don’t know if they offer free WiFi, but I could spend a couple of hours here eating and working on a laptop. I was a little overwhelmed by the menu, so I asked the employee which of two options they’d choose. I went with their selection, the tuna bowl and it was flavorful and filling. My only wish is that it had some sort of crunchy element. The Hawaiian Sun canned beverages are delicious and pair perfectly with a poke bowl. On my next visit I’ll likely try one of their ramen offerings. Island Poke is in a great location, situated in the middle of Massapequa’s picturesque, walkable Main Street. If you’ve still got an appetite after eating here there’s several baked good spots on the block.

Great new spot in the village with great food and a cool atmosphere. While trying this place i got the regular size create your own poke bowl with ahi tuna and spicy salmon. They give you plenty of add on options to chose from for no additional cost. The regular size is plenty for one and all the fish and toppings were fresh. They also have some great other menu options and feature some Hawaiian sides such as kona coffee, chips, and juices. Atmosphere is cool. Like a mix between a Hawaiian stand with an asian twist. Overall definitely a cool spot to check out, especially if you like poke.
