iFixScreens Massapequa Park — Local services in Town of Oyster Bay

Unfortunately I had a bad experience. I have a Google pixel pro 7. I went there to get my screen replaced and it cost over $350. 2 weeks later there was this unusual cracking on the glass. I called up the store and basically got on this long argument with the guy named Jay (I believe) at the store. The conversation basically spiraled at a control but then ended up promising me that he would talk to his boss. To see what he was able to do. I had to call back from time to time to see what the update was and it took another 2 weeks. After that he told me he ordered the part and that he wouldn't charge for labor. When I got to the store to replace the screen for a second time it was going to cost me 180 bucks. At that point I might as well get a new Google pixel because the total cost was $530. A new pixel 8. Cost around $700.

Then another heated conversation with Jay. I called him lying to me about speaking to his boss in all this nonsense. He was basically telling me to call my credit card company to dispute the charges, to get my money back. Frankly, I never heard someone working at a store telling their customers to dispute charges and implying that you're helping me by doing that. He was very persistent on it. Ultimately, I had to negotiate with him that I would pay him $100 cash for replacing the screen.

The pricing doesn't make sense to me, how it went from $350 to replace the screen. To $180 without labor. And to negotiate it down to $100 bucks to replace the screen for a second time.

I'm not a person that complains and writes bad reviews online but when you spend that kind of money just to have your screen replaced and dealing with somebody that is extremely difficult to deal with. I felt like writing something, which was funny enough I wasn't even going to even write anything until Google suggested I did so I figured why not. The only reason I'm not giving this a one star is because at the end of it my screen is replaced at a very high cost and it's working.

I brought my phone to Verizon and they said they couldn't fix it. I thought my heart stopped but they referred me to IFixScreensMassapequaPark. So I went. They ordered a new battery for me and the next day they said it would take about 45 minutes to an hour. I was ok with that. And they fixed it. I was the dumbass that broke it by over charging it.
