Francesco's of Farmingdale — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

Definitely give this restaurant a try, you will not be disappointed. My family and I ordered from here last week and the food was excellent and is now our go to spot for Italian food. The price of a family special can't be beat and included a large pie (toppings are extra), a large serving of baked ziti, a large salad, and a dozen garlic knots. The pie was half spinach and half sausage and it was by far the best slice of pizza I've had in quite a while. Loved the tomato sauce. Baked Ziti was well seasoned and nice and cheesy the way it should be. The salad was so perfect looking we didn't even want to touch it. Garlic knots were addicting. I have waited to order from here for a few months giving a business a chance to ger their kinks out and a routine going. Unfotunately, I cannot give it a good review. We ordered a pizza with three toppings and a plate of linguini alfredo with grilled chicken. The pizza dough is extremely tough and chewy, it was rough trying to get through a slice. I am not a senior citizen with dentures by far, but this was rough.. The alfredo sauce was good, but the chicken in the linguini alfredo was burnt. I really want to like this place because we support local businesses in our town. Unfortunately, the past three orders were messed up. From not bringing sodas or dressings that were ordered on the side, to a pizza ordered with half pepperoni and half sausage only to get pepperoni and sausage on one side and plain the other to finally today where we placed an order online and when we called up an hour later to see where our order is they told us it was marked as a pickup when we didn’t order it as a pick up and already included a tip with our order.
